The Iowa Caucuses and Immigration

Months of strenuous campaigning, millions of dollars in political advertising, and countless days of retail politicking will culminate in just a few hours, when a select few will decide who will be awarded the first presidential delegates of the 2012 Republican race for President of the United States.

Although not always an accurate gauge of who is ultimately nominated by the Republican Party-a fact pointed out rather inelegantly by Jon Huntsman-the Iowa caucuses do have a significant impact upon the results of future contests, particularly the New Hampshire primary. That’s why it’s important that we scrutinize the words and deeds-and in some cases, rather extensive voting records-of those who seek the GOP nod to face President Obama this November. Specifically, from the perspective of the immigration enforcement and reform movement.

I have a natural distrust of ALL baby-kissing, glad-handing politicians ...

My political cynicism was birthed after working as a Campaign Manager to help get "JR" (a black friend at church) elected to the New Orleans City Council (1986), numerous civic-political activites in Texas and Florida, and the Pat Buchanan Presidential campaign in 1996.

I've seen almost "every" politician back-track on promises ... some made "face-to-face" with yours truly.

Newt Gingrich ?

Boy, did he blow it a couple of times !!!

1) Marital Infidelities
2) Nancy Pelosi "couch moment"
3) Endorsing the "Global Warming Nonsense"
4) Fill-in-the-Blank
5) Fill-in-the-Blank
6) Fill-in-the-Blank
7) Fill-in-the-Blank

I guess that when I look at Newt Ginrich ... the Man and the Politician ... and the (extremely) accomplished Historian ... I see myself ...

Newt Gingrich ... is in someways like myself ... a flawed man ... needing Christ's grace and forgiveness ... with several life mistakes ... but also accomplishments of having the COURAGE to stand-up to the Power Elite ...

Newt Gingrich isn't America's Political Messiah ...

However ... taken at "face value" ... from a Man who's had the COURAGE to admit his mistakes (morally and politically) ...

And THEN also had GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS as U.S. House Speaker ...

And TODAY has a comprehensive plan to START get America (my beloved country) OUT OF THIS Ecomonic-Moral-Political DISASTER ...

And has the "Political Legislative Experience" (In the trenches) to KNOW how to get vital Legislation PASSED -- not merely debated --

And has that Legislation ALREADY WRITTEN to have submitted to Congress ... on Day-One of his Presidency

With that NEW "Day-One" legislation to include:

1) Abolish the EPA
2) FIRE Federal Reserve Banker Bernacke
3) Actively protect America against Isalmic Jihad

4) Prayer in the Public Schools -- RETURNED
5) Liberal (Activist) Federal Judges REMOVED

6) Business Corporate Tax Rate LOWERED to 12-percent
7) Individuals to have FLAT-TAX option at 15-percent

8) Promote U.S. Energy Independence -- DOMESTICALLY

9) Build EFFECTIVE U.S. Border Protection by 2015
10) Illegal Immigrants (especially violent gangs) DEPORTED
11) "English" established as the ONLY official language of the U.S. Government

12) U.S. Military "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" ... RE-INSTATED
13) U.S. Military weapon design-procurement cycle reformed

14) Democratic "Dodd-Frank" Legislation REPEALED
15) Democratic "Sarbanes-Oxley" Legislation REPEALED

Now ... Let's fast-forward to 2016 ... PRAYING that the GOP - Tea Party coalition won CONTROL of the Presidency, U.S. House and Senate.

What if by 2016 Newt Gingrich's leadership ... and KEPT PROMISES ... resulted ONLY in items 1-15 (above) being enacted ... INTO LAW ?

Is "Your" America safer, more prosperous than today ?
Is "Your Childrens'" America safer, more prosperous than today ?

Can or Will Barack Obama accomplish those goals ? "NO"

Can or Will Mitt Romney accomplish those goals ? "NO"
Can or Will Dr. Winkie (Ron Paul) accomplish those goals ? "NO"
Can or Will Rick Santorum accomplish those goals ? "NO"
Can or Will Michelle Bachman accomplish those goals ? "NO"

Can or Will Donald Trump accomplish those goals ? "NO"
Can or Will The Libertarian Party accomplish those goals ? "NO"
Can or Will The Constitution Party accomplish those goals ? "NO"

Could (my favorite) Sarah Palin (honestly) accomplish those goals ?
"SADLY, No --- Not enough National experience -- Yet"

So WHAT are we to do ? How do we Vote ?

I say ... take the Candidate with the 90-percent solution ... over Candidates B-C-D-E with their measily 5-percent solutions ...

Is it perfect ? Nope ...

But what would you rather have in your pocket ... if someone (genuinely) owed you $ 100 ?

$ 90.00 or "Zero" ????

And here's the "kicker" to that math problem ...

If re-elected ... Obama "The Socialist Kenyan" will STEAL another $ 200 from your pocket ... when he grants Citizenship to 25 million Illegal Immigrants ...

And if elected ... Mitt "I Love Gay Rights" Romney ... and the GOP E-RINOs ... will only steal $ 100 from your pocket ... when he grants Citizenship to 12.5 million Illegal Immigrants ...

And once those 12.5 to 25 million Illegal Immigrants are "SOCIALIST DEMOCRATIC VOTERS" ... you can KISS AMERIKA GOODBYE ...
