I just received an email update from Congressman Darrell Issa’s (R-CA) office, stating that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is scheduled to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on February 2. The questions will center on the Department of Justice’s knowledge of, and response to, the gunwalking tactics that were used in Operation Fast and Furious. The A.G. will also be asked to address the DOJ’s “steadfast refusal to disclose information following the February 4, 2011 letter to Senator Grassley, which the [DOJ] has withdrawn because it contained false information denying allegations made by whistleblowers about Operation Fast and Furious.”

This is just one more meaningless dog and pony show. How many committees has there been already? What is one more going to do? The answer is NOTHING!

I believe our government is failing right before our eyes and “the people” either are too dumbed down by public education or the media to do anything about it. Unless Holder gets arrested or thrown out of office right soon, I’m done thinking there can be justice in America’s system when the head of Justice Department is corrupt and apparently “untouchable”.

I have no faith in these hearings at all though.

Obama will have to can him, for him to go. I don’t see that happening, but who knows.

Beat up Holder until he's holding is hollow head in his hands. Then beat up Obama. Keep beating Obama until he thinks his head is a bongo drum. Then beat him some more.

The way to turn the obfuscations and coverups on these crooked creeps is to make the process so protracted and painful they dread the arrival of every new day. Then they will start to turn on each other. Then keep on beating.

You've got the right idea. Besides, this is an investigation and Grassley and Issa have been treating it as one and it has probably moved along faster than most comparable investigations.

There really isn't much comparable to what it is they've found though. When you have the ATF, FBI, DEA, BP, ICE, IRS, CIA and DOJ all taking some part it might take a little time to connect the dots and root out the key connections.
