Karma as it’s used in today’s speech has no more to fo with Hinduism than Easter has to do with the goddess Oestre. It is used to mean “ to get what’s coming to a person” nothing more. It’s a useful word.
I think you are partially right. I think there may come a day when the origins of karma are usurped by a secular definition. That day will come when I feel the threats of the “new age” deception, Hinduism/Bhuddism, inner “god” and yoga, etc. are no longer threats to the souls of Christians weak in their faith. I think that day is many decades away.
The world will await you change of feelings. Until then try asking 100 young people to identify the sourceof the word “karma”; I believe you will get very few references to Hinduism.
He doesn’t kick the dogs, just a surprise nudge. A hard one, yes, but not a full on abusive kick. It’s for surprise. This is not dog abuse.
