Prayers up. Hate that a kid has to go through that. And don't ignore complaints of the missing/damaged kidney hurting.

My left one has been gone since Dec 2009, and it hurts sometimes. Seriously hurts. And it's not there.

It's all 'negotiating with God to take us home, NOW, please! kind of painful.

On the up side. Missing a kidney hasn't slowed beer consumption one bit. But I can't drink iced tea anymore.

Go figure.

Of course, beer consumption may not be an issue for a bitty kid.
