This reminds me of an Apple Commercial. Like the iPhone or iPad.

I like Firefox. It works very well for what I do. I can’t remember the last time I used Explorer. As for the video, I like the chick dressed like a fox 16 seconds in. I don’t remember the rest.

I’ve used Firefox for years now. I never even think about going back to the sucky old IE.

Yup, cool commercial. Would make a good template for a Tea Party spot.

The development cycle has all but ensured the end to my favorite browser. Version 8012 will fix that I'm sure. :) They really try too much to emulate google these days. I used to be able to part together boxes, put avg, zone alarm, and firefox on them and forget about them(after giving them away). Not any more. There is still that memory leak in ff as well. They should go back to what made them great imo. Not following chrome.

Yet another Firefox user here.

Back in the Windows 98 days, a savvy old computer guy twisted my newbie arm so hard, I went ahead and tried it. I soon dumped IE for good, and have never looked back.

I’m now running Windows 7 and almost tried the latest IE when I first fired up the new beast, but no. I’m happy with Mozilla’s browser.

Excellent ad! I saved a copy for future reference.

You know, some Freeper with video skills could do a similar ad video for FR. They could use a collage of photos submitted by members. It would make a nice video to show during Freepathons and as an introduction to newcomers.

It might be a nice project for someone. Just an idea.

Uh, you’re a little behind the times. The Old-and-Broken 8012 has already gone into Testing, and Nightly is at 8045. It’s the New Hotness.

Firefox’s customizability is the core of it's success. This (relatively) new aggressive release schedule leaves interacting add-ons and extensions in a rather precarious spot. No script keeps me using ff, but they are bound to break it at this pace. :)

I like Firefox, but not really Firefox as much as the independent people that make "Add-ons" for Firefox. The add-ons (extentions) that Firefox allows is what sets Firefox apart from the other browsers.

Adblock Plus

BBCode xtra

Beef Taco

BetterPrivacy

Dictionary Search

Downloadhelper

Flashblock

Google Translator for Firefox

Image Zoom

NoSquint

Screengrab

Ghostery

All of these help make my visit to the WWW safe and pleasurable. I get fewer advertisments, I get fewer spys upon my viewership, I get to block annoying FR ads on each FReeperthon drive, I get functionality like being able to transcribe foreign languages with just a highlight and click. You can't beat it.

I have a computer connected to my Sony Bravia 55inch LCD HDTV.

I use theTile Tabs 5.4 add-on to watch FOX News, SKY News, CNN and BBC - all at the same time. Then I just need to click the sound on and off as I switch my focus to what I find interesting.

I've been gradually shifting over to Firefox on my home PC. Seems to be much better and faster It's not held hostage by giving ads priority...

It does have a memory leak.

I have a terminal window running on the other screen running top, and when the memory fills up, and the load average climbs above 2.5, I do a pkill fox, and restart it.
