The Daily Caller ^ | 01/17/12 | Alex pappas

Newsweek accomplished at least one thing by running a cover story calling the country’s critics of President Obama “dumb” — they awoke the mama grizzly.

[SNIP]

Directing her message to “@Newsweek,” Palin wrote, “Know what’s truly ‘dumb’? Giving a cover story to the TrigTruther conspiracy kook writer who thinks I didn’t give birth to my son.”

Know what’s really dumb? Being a Newsweek reader.
Know what’s even dumber? Being a Newsweek subscriber.

When your only remaining sales venue is the supermarket check-out line, you need some stupidly provocative headline to compete with the Globe and Enquirer.

Yup. Andrew Sullivan is Trig Truther scum. I’m glad she smacked Newsweek for giving him the spotlight.

Newsweak is utterly worthless.

The photography is of average quality on a good day.

The writing and cartoons are a hideous combination of lies, half-truths, and distortions of the truth.

The paper is stiff, glossy, and not absorbent.

Don't forget that "Newsweak" was the rag that published the ridiculous story about how korans were being flushed down toilets at Club Gitmo, resulting in riots throughout the muslim world, and was directly responsible for inciting additional hatred against the USA, as well as dozens of deaths in those riots.

The entire "Newsweak" "orgainization" was a bunch of reprehensible hacks, and when sold for $1, was an incredible rip-off!

Not even good enough to wrap the fish in.

Newsweak was sold for $1. The buyer paid too much.

“Know what’s really dumb? Being a Newsweek reader.”

They don’t have any.

The story was a desperate attempt to get people to read a story.

Newsweek has a short time left.

I still see that as a criminal deal that prevented stock holders from recouping as much as possible because they didn’t want a conservative to buy it.

Dogs and cats refuse to crap on it, fish come back to life and jump out of it when used as fish wrap.

Newsweak. Offensive across the board.

Amen to Sarah Palin. And let’s remember. Newsweek is now run by the famously incomeptent Tina Brown. The same Tina Brown who has left a trail of insolvent business ventures behind her: Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, her own MSNBC Show, and looks well on her way to sending Newsweek to it’s final resting place too. She’s an idiotic socialite who wouldn’t know how to run a neighborhood lemonade stand - which is exactly why she’s adored by leftists. She’s incompetent and famous, just what they’d all like to be.

Andrew Sullivan, the former Republican who “switched teams”.

How many gay journalistas are there in America’s newsrooms? Certainly more than their 2% of the general population.

How many tax dollars go to the Left every week buying subscriptions to Time-Lies and Newsweak for every public library and high school?
