Reddit had a sound engineer that took a look at some of the videos. In at least three of the videos from Russia, the sounds are exactly the same in frequency, but the modulation was changed a bit. In others, the frequency of the noise exceeds the capabilities of any current model of handcam/cell phone microphone pointing out that they were most likely dubbed in.

I’d post a link to the thread, but their website is participating in the SOPA protest.

The George C. Scott version was excellent.

The 3-D animated Jim Carry treatment was horrible. (They should burn the negative and shred all of the DVDs or change the title and remove any reference to Dickens in the credits and put in a disclaimer that any resemblance to Dickens’ Christmas Carol is purely coincidental)

Haven’t heard any strange sounds, but I have noticed that my toothpaste has been leaking out of the tube a lot during the day.

Anyone else having that experience?
