USA Today reported Jan. 21 that President Obama was setting aside much of that weekend to work on his State of the Union address. He should have just worked on the state of the union.
I can hardly fault the president for using the occasion to make a campaign speech. All presidents do in election years. But in so doing, they usually point to all the good they accomplished during their first term in office. But there’s very little good to which President Barack Obama can point.

And who did the writing for him? We all know that this clown couldn’t write a coherent sentence without cribbing from his prompter.
It was painful to watch. Even his voice was unbearable. Like a bad actor, there was so much fake emphasis and over emotion that I think he was even trying to convince himself he meant what he was saying.
If there are any left. The smart capitalists are going to move to countries that don’t punish success and countries that will welcome the productive and intelligent with open arms. Soon the smart that don’t want to spend their lives supporting the hoards of illegitimate brats will end up leaving and going where they won’t have to support to two people on welfare in addition to themselves.

Even some Democratic Congressional members remarked that he lacked clarity and his delivery was flat. Maybe he shouldn’t have spent the entire weekend working on it - over-rehearsed?
Actually I think he spent the weekend saying over and over again, “Jobs corp,” so that it wouldn’t come out “Jobs corpse.”
I like the description that some have. The SOTU speech was an “occupy the Capitol” protest.

That’s a good name for the speech too! Ask Governors Jindal, Perry and Brewer. They got personal STFU speeches from Obama.
