It's looking more and more like the RINO, country club, elitist attacks on Newt Gingrich are having their intended effect and that Mitt Romney will win in Florida and possibly take the Republican nomination. I don't know about you, but I'm up to **here** with the "lesser of two evils" nonsense and I very much doubt that Mitt will choose Sarah Palin or someone like her as his VP.
What to do, then? I'm open to any and all suggestions.
I’ll just home on election day. No sense in participating in an establishment that never meaningfully changes.
Much to early to declare Mittens the winner unless your with the establishment. FL is the 4th of 50 (or 57-60 depending on who is counting) to vote.
I’m not thrilled with any of them, but now is not the time to declare a winner. 80% of the country still has not voted.
It would just get uglier.
Mitt will NEVER pick Sarah as his VP and Sarah will NEVER accept it anyway. She hates Mitt, his goons have trashed her for 3+ years, it will never happen. Just hope that Tuesday people in Florida see what kind of scumbag Romney is and kick him to the curb
We have enough division without a 3rd party.
Newt can and should win Florida!
If Romney is the GOP nominee, the party goes the way of the Whigs.
All enthusiasm evaporates over night if Romney wins Florida.
She would laugh in his face if he asked. However, he knows better than to ask. There is no one like her. She can't be bought.
Santorum has to get out or he’s giving it to Romney.. and he can forget EVER trying to run again if he causes Romney to be the nominee.. I’ll jump on that Bobby Jindal or Paul Ryan bandwagon as soon as it leaves the station to defeat Santorum if he ever decides to run again
Don’t forget Newt’s big donor from Vegas, Sheldon Adelson - he is Jewish and this could mean that the Jewish vote in south FL could go to Newt.
...from my fingers to God’s ears...
I will support the GOP locally and statewide but will not support Romney.
First time in 8 or 9 POTUS elections I have EVER said that.
I am done with it. The past 48 hours have been like being born again politically.
I see the GOP and most of what is called conservatism for what it is..fake.
Mitt wins FL and it’s over..no one has the money to keep going and fight enough to compete
80% left or not
I’m with you, Onyx.
Why do we have to lie down and whimper ?
The Conservatives are winning this 2-1. Santorum won Iowa and Newt won South Carolina.
We are in the driver’s seat.
lol...problem is they are all registered Dems and it's a closed primnary
by that logic most of Mark Levin's audience should be heavily Jewish...I doubt it
Most Jews loathe social conservatives more than they do Islam
Unfortunately, Romney got the better of the debate today. The Gingrich of S. Carolina was nowhere to be found. (He was on the defensive over investments in Freddie Mae, and the notion of colonizing the moon appeared looney to both the audience and the political commentariat.) Santorum was the clear winner and if as a result of today’s performance, his poll numbers go up, this means more votes taken from the Gingrich column. Should this play out, FL which is a must win state for Gingrich and Romney, the outcome in FL will be determinative. If Gingrich self implodes, at least we’ll have Santorum standing.
Why should i give up like some on this thread? I thought the objective here is to get rid of the kenyan klown? I heard the same comments 4 years ago when McLame became the GOP candidate in the end “oh I will stay home” blah blah.
Your last sentence says it all.
Dust in the wind if Romney wins. Dust in the wind as far as any meaningful grassroots support.
He’ll get 20-30% total.
