Rick Santorum wins Florida!
Me | Me

Posted on 01/27/2012 7:04:34 AM PST by Dan.israel.2011

Rick Santorum found his FIRE. Remarkable improvement over his last debate when he let mittens slap him like a rag doll. He found his FIRE last night and destroyed mittens with facts about RomneyCare! God bless you Rick!

Florida picks Rick! Hands down.

I cant wait to see the data on the number of votes vs $$$ spent in campaign!

I believe it will be the lowest cost per vote EVER for Rick.

Who needs $$$ when you have votes!

Having said thst, please send Rick a note of congrats include a check if you can, but at least send him a note! Hand written, not an email!

Yes. Covered that well too.

It’s like his trap he set for Mitt on that felon voting thing.
He scores real big on issues that mean little to Americans out of work, and losing their homes.

I'm referring to Rick as self-serving if he stays in and gives Romney Florida. If Newt can win Florida now he has a much better chance.

Romney has some liberal leaning territory ahead in the next few primaries and it will be difficult for Newt to get back the momentum after several losses even though more conservative states have their primaries toward the end.

I don't know why Rick can't suspend and jump back in later if Newt appears to be failing.

I am so unsure of the remaining.. wish I could jump on a band wagon of one of them but have real hesitations about them. No way, I want Obama to win, even though I think he will. Just not happy with the 4 we have left. I did think Rick did well last night.

Rick did well because he was allowed to take shots at the others with no fear of being a target of the front runners. We’ve seen how he reacts when things aren’t going well for him.

He was right to target Romneycare and hold Mitt’s feet to the fire, but understand that he was given a free pass last night.

Precisely. No one is really attacking Santorum because he is no threat. People have to understand the ebb and flow of these debates and when a candidate shines sometimes it is simply because none of the other candidates feel the need to attack them.

Rick is a good man, but he won't be the nominee. He is mostly out of money, has little organization, has no hope of winning the nomination and is only a threat to divide the anti-Romney voting block.

The longer Santorum stays in the race, the better it is for Mitt.

The sooner Rick bows out, the sooner we can have a united front against Romney in votes and money.

And the sooner his supporters can stop with their fantasies.

If Newt doesn’t win Florida we can thank Santorum. If anybody thinks Santorum isn’t working with the powers that be in the GOP their kidding themselves. It’s all out to keep Newt from the nomination because they are deathly afraid of him because he owes no one.

“Ask yourself one question: Who, of the 4 candidates, do you want your sons and daughters to grow up to be like? “

I’m sorry, but are you even paying attention to what the real issues are in this election, and the stakes for all of us?

This is the LAST thing I’m thinking about.

Selfish Santorum and his voters ...alone in their “principles.”

Choices for GOP Fla. voters next Tuesday:

1.Vote for the contender who you like and who voices your values but has no chance of winning the nomination.
2.Vote for the one who might be able to take down Mittens as the frontrunner.

If I were a Fla. resident, I would opt for number two rather than number one..and worry about everything else later.

And Rick IS strident and unlikable. Ask a bunch o’folks in Pa. who know him well.
The “yorkie in the sweater vest” needs to take one for the team and go home.

“No. A vote for Newt is a vote for Romney. Not only can Newt not beat Obama, he cannot beat Romney. Although many of his complaints about Romney are justified, he comes off as too whiny lately.

Santorum is very strong on healthcare and foreign policy.

He won Iowa and can win it all but he’ll obviously need some former Newt supporters to join on— and fast.”

HE WON IOWA BY 38 VOTES!!! Are you guys still pumping THAT?

Newt actually won SC by a wide margin against a Romney media juggernaut.

Jesus! This isnt an issue of checking off boxes on paper and going with whomever looks nice on a list. This is about who can fight and beat Romney over the long game.

Rick does NOT have that. Money votes, organization.

How is he going to stand up to Romney’s super PACs? Or his media machine?

This is not a game, nor is this Jan of 2011. It is far past time for him to deiced if it is more important to see his name in a paper or to take down Romney.

Rick needs to get out of the way. He has zero chance to win.

Why can’t the pudgy guy with the ex-wives and mistresses take one for the team and go home?

You are playing right into the Romney rhetoric. Many many of his supporters are saying the exact same thing you are: vote for him because he is the only one who can beat Obama.

Sorry, my vote is too precious to throw away on Big Gov’t RINOs. And I don’t want to “worry” about things later when it is too late to do anything about it. That’s suicide.

It is already happening. Look at the Drudge Report. The photograph of Santorum is a statement in-and-of itself. The fix is in. Looks like 4 more years for Obama.

The econmy is the issue right now, but will it be on election day? Things change quickly and I think we need a candidate who is more than a good debater or firestarter. I still believe character matters. I do believe Newt has changed, but what if their is other things out there on Newt we don't know about? He was in Washington how many years? I am for Rick, but will vote for Newt if I must. I will not vote for Romney.

Dear Rick:

Quit while you’re ahead.
Put your POTUS run to bed.

You CAN remain a hero,
by thwarting Mitt And Zero.

Allow your hot pursuit
to merge support for NEWT.

You’ll be forever thanked
when Mitt’s steamroll has tanked.

>>>All Rick will do is take votes away from Newt so that Romney wins.

I’ll tell you what, if Newt will take an Oath and keep his promises and not lie to us, I’ll vote for him. Oh, wait, he’s done that before and now they’re his Ex-Wives.

Sorry, but a man who won’t keep his Wedding Vows won’t honor the Oath of Office either. Peddle that cheating, lying whoremonger somewhere else, I didn’t vote for Clinton and I’m not voting for his Republican twin either.

It’s about money and organization.
Santorum has neither.
It may make you feel good to vote for him..but he has no chance to win.
So your vote is wasted on him.

I don’t know who you think I am supporting but it’s not Romney. GO NEWT!!!
