Obama will give them lip service only—and trot off to the UN for lots of speeches and a strongly worded letter. Thats about it. But, do not worry—Israel is a smart nation and they have plans to take out Iran short of war—Just watch. It wouldn’t take much to set up an ‘incident’ of some sort. An ‘Iranian’ rocket hitting a US carrier—or some other event—this would start a war between the US and Iran—they could watch as we do the dirty work for them.

I just don't see Israel going in until the situation in Syria is resolved. They already have an open flank with the new Islamist government of Egypt. They will certainly face attacks from Gaza and the West Bank. If they can knock Syria out of the game they secure their Northern flank.

Israel went into the six day war because the closure of the Straits of Tiran. They had to fight or run out of oil. There is no such time line working now. Iran already has the material for at least four bombs so it isn't like they can put that Genie back into the bottle. Just keep whacking Iran's scientists and other industrial "accidents". Then hope Obama gets kicked out next January.
