Dick Morris was practically CRYING on Sean Hannity’s Fox News program about how we need to stop attacking Mitt Romney, especially the three conservative candidates in the race.
Ann Coulter was up next on Hannity where the two of them played out a charade that almost looked rehearsed. Coulter was just fawning over the very thought of Romney saying how we “should all be celebrating because we have a conservative candidate” and she even blasphemously compared Romney to Reagan. There’s a hole in Ann’s theory. Maybe Mitt can smile like Ronald Reagan and even make a half decent speech. The problem is that Ronald Reagan was not a pretentious bullshitting socialist.
I guess Ann figures she has made enough money because she is all-in with this modern day Elmer Gantry and her career will forever be linked to this impetuous infatuation along with her honorary board chairmanship of “GoProud”.
Ann was also bragging to Sean tonight about how she accosted Romney after a fund raiser and told him “you owe me”! Talk about a “slobbering Love Affair”. I’m sure Bernie Goldberg didn’t have Ann Coulter in mind when he wrote his book but that is exactly what we are witnessing here. Ann is demonstrating the same type of delusions as we witnessed in 2008 from people like Oprah, Chris Matthews & Joy Behar over Obama.
Ann Romney may want to keep an eye on these two before Mitt ends up moving them to Mexico like his Grandfather did so they can all be married together. Well, on second thought, Mexico really needs a good “turn around specialist” of their own. It might be a better fit.
Nevertheless, I am TIRED of hearing these whining sell-outs tell us we shouldn’t be exposing Romney’s socialist governmental record. It’s the only record he has so those of us who are not susceptible to crushes are going to point out the fact that the GOP is pushing a socialist all the way to the convention against the will of the MAJORITY of the party.
“Oh but the 11th Commandment… wahhhh, wahhhhh” Let me be clear: The venerable President Ronald Reagan was the greatest president of the 20th Century – but he was not God incarnate nor did he make any such pretense. He was right about most things but nobody is right about EVERYTHING.
Judging by the results of the past 24 years of my entire voting life in which I ALWAYS voted for the establishment candidate since turning 18 in 1988 – I’m going to say that THE “11TH Commandment” is at least –one- thing that President Reagan got wrong and if he saw the unmitigated abandonment of basic sense that I’m seeing by this cult-like Romney worship – I think President Reagan would agree that the 11th Commandment – NO LONGER APPLIES to this generation.
On that note let me conclude by saying that my resolute line-in-the-sand is not a scenario of “if you don’t support MY CANDIDATE, I’m going to take my toys and go home”. This is about the fact that I will NEVER debase my country or my honor by knowingly voting for a statist like Mitt Romney. There are three other candidates in this race besides Romney and I will gladly vote for ANY ONE OF THEM if they are nominated.
It is the choice of the GOP and the Moderate Murdoch Media if they want to cram this guy who according to them (about 100 times on Sunday alone) “already looks like the nominee…” down our throats and help this liberal hi-jack the party as they did with John McCain – it is THEY WHO ARE ELECTING BARACK OBAMA because they are warned with ample time and they are swimming against the stream of all basic sense in pushing this unacceptable candidate.
Rebellion is no longer "brewing"; rebellion is HERE.

I have to disagree. I live in Clark County, and am married to a Mormon. Neither of us are for Myth. I just don’t buy the blind support because he’s Mormon. That’s a convenient meme to push, but the non upper echelon Mormons I know don’t support him. His track record as a flip-flopping hypocrite is just a little too blatant.

“Tax revolt might gain steam”
Tax revolt? Amusing. We really need a “Spending Revolt” these days.
Of course, you’d lose a large segment of support if you tried to base a rebellion on THAT.
Too many folks, and too many conservative folks get a check from the government to mount an effective rebellion.
We can’t have a rebellion until the checks stop (not just the welfare checks - ALL of them) and people realize that they aren’t invested in the present system because it no longer gives them other people’s money.
The TEA party was ok with cutting taxes, by definition, but were also overwhelming in their support of major government spending programs (medicare).
Hardly the stuff of rebellion.
Much as I really despise obammy I will NOT pull any lever for mitt.

Once upon a time I would have told you “it’s a vote for Obama bla bla bla” but now I can say that I’ll be joining you in my protest of the RNC.
However, I would encourage you to do what I’m doing and still vote for the house and senate seats. Just leave the prez field blank.
That way if Obama wins he’ll have to deal with a republican house and senate and when his pitiful second term is over we’ll have another shot at fielding a TRUE conservative.

The RNC tries to again foist RINO horse pooh on us. Mitt is NO conservative nor were Bob Dole, John McCain or either Bush’s.

Reagan warned the American people that the healthcare system would be the first target for those who want a socialist country. It’s sad that the very first appearance of socialized healthcare was the idea of A REPUBLICAN! So we have to vote for either:
a. The guy who passed socialized healthcare
b. The guy who passed socialized healthcare
c. None of the above.
One day we’ll be forced to field a conservative 3rd party... hope that day comes soon.
Not trying to disagree with your assertion that Mormons just voted Romney because he’s Mormon. However, it’s in our nature to favor people who share things in common with us (like our religious beliefs) and I think it’s no coincidence that a high Mormon population leads to a Mitt advantage...
What you say is true off the tee, but it seems with our taxes we are still funding our own enslavement, or borrowing from China for the same purpose. We are otherwise quite stuck at the complaining stage, and the guy whose disposition fits the times is getting roughed up by the elites and a fairly large number of the purity purveyors around here also. But, yes I agree with you. We are being paid to shut up, and we are an aging population, having swallowed birth control pills by the truck load.
Who will be left to rebel, or still young enough to mount a rebellion, or old enough to care?

I’m 27. I inform my wife, my friends and my family on current events and the state of politics today. That’s how we lead the charge.

I actually agree 100% with what you are saying and 2 years ago wrote that this is exactly what is going to happen. My reason for writing was not to show what a clairvoyant I am (lol), - but rather to try to ignite a demand for change in HOW we nominate our Presidential candidate.

The fact is that if we had a requirement in the Party that the Presidential nominee -must- have a majority of the GOP -Romney would not win the nomination and the past 20 years would have been quite different.
IMPORTANTLY: The reason I am complaining about the GOP establishment is to stave off their tactic which is to herd the ambivalent Republicans by telling them ad naseum that “the elction is over and Romney is the inevitable nominee”.
THAT is the key. The media latches on to an inconsequential “victory” like Nevada and spins it - around the clock - seven days a week until they deliberately turn it into a self-fulfilling prohecy. They use the lines like those with which I began this column about how “Romney looks more and more like the nominee... he now has taken of Secret Service protection... he’s no longer engaging his opponents in the GOP...” Their one-two punch consists of those talking-points (voice over video of Mitt) - in CONJUNCTION WITH hourly polls telling impressionable voters what more and more of them “think”.
This is manipualtion at its finest and is the reason for my disquisition. So yes, the fact that we have three conservatives splitting the vote is the reason - but the manipulation and mental conditioning by the media turns it into a “runaway victory” before Super Tuesday.
These people need to know NOW that it’s not going to be business as usual and we are no longer willing to be the GOP’s proverbial bitches.

You keep referring to the GOP as some sentient being. It is not. It is simply a coalition of warring factions. The nomination process we have gives the nominee the majority, or he isn’t nominated. It is a flawed method, but better than party bigwigs determining the nominee without input from the base.
Currently, a large minority of that coalition, if not a plurality, believes that Romney is the front runner and is more electable than the other candidates. You will not change their mind by railing at them, or hurling childish insults. In fact, you only harden them against your position. If you cannot educate them, you have to live with the results.
You cannot change the media spin, however, those pundits have as much right to their opinion as you do. They simply have the bully pulpit to spread that opinion. We are not powerless in this, but yes, the deck is stacked against the very conservative. Unfortunately, it is the only game in town.
Now, from my POV, let me say that I believe it will be many years before conservatives have the clout that we had in 2004. We consciously threw Bush and those Republicans away, instead of building farther on the conservative gains made from 1994-2004. Now, there is no magic bullet, only hard work and hard times ahead for us. Pissing and moaning about it does nothing but make it worse, and turning on the Republican Party is foolish....they are our only hope of stopping the far left agenda or at least slowing it enough to give us the time to regroup.
Overall, the only way we will win the election is by rallying around the Republican nominee, no matter who it is, after the process is complete. That allows conservatives a seat at the table, even though the candidate is less than conservative. With Obama, we are totally locked out.
Vote your conscience in the primaries, but vote the gd democrats out in November, then start the groundwork for the next election cycle.
That is the only path, whether it suits conservatives or not.

Again - I am confident I will NOT change their mind. Where I disagree with you is that I have to accept that the Fox News media is what it is and cannot be obviated.
I believe that attacking back against the media -can- be effective - when that one particular media company knows that it has had its favorable status in large part because of conservatives. It is just like any other business. If they are smart, they will listen to their customers and become more balanced.
I absolutely have seen a substantial difference in Hannity’s behavior this primary season from the 2008 primaries where he was round the clock, no holds barred in the tank for Mitt.
He heard the outrage of his conservative audience and responded favorably. The reason why Mike Huckabee has his own show is because the round the clock slander of Huckabee in the 2008 primaries. His supporters were alienated in a big way and Fox new they had to do something about it.
I get the feeling that you are going to disagree with me no matter how much I expatiate despite my videos and writings articulating the fact that we are not going to change the mind of these Romney supporters. I believe that but I do believe that this resolute fight is about stopping the false momentum created by the media to influence the blithe GOP voters who will jump on the bandwagon.
That’s it for me. We might as well save our time and agree that we will disagree - even though we actually agree for the most part.
