Congressman John Boehner, the House Speaker better known for displays of weeping than of courage, is reportedly cutting a deal with Eric Holder which would provide a “mutually satisfactory” outcome in Barack Obama’s criminal, gun running endeavor Operation Fast and Furious.
Months ago, Boehner prevented Darrell Issa filing a charge of perjury against Holder even after documents proved the Attorney General’s May 4th House testimony concerning the date of his first “acquaintance” with Fast and Furious to be an outright lie.
And now the weepy Speaker will OFFICIALLY let the most corrupt Department of Justice head in the nation’s history off the hook for complicity in the Regime’s murderous scheme to savage the 2nd Amendment rights of the American people.
The terms of the betrayal John Boehner is currently putting together:
The Committee will accept the scalps of [Lanny] Breuer and [Jason] Wienstein, DOJ will release enough of the (documents) to condemn them, claim cooperation (thus giving the appearance of recognizing congress’s oversight authority), and Holder will survive – looking like a “leader” for offering them up (along with a few lower level ATF and DOJ folk). The Committee will chalk one in the “Win” column for oversight and holding people accountable. DOJ will have the same for cooperating and accountability. (1)

There is going to be a poop storm of epic proportions over this. My advise to the people involved: Run and hide in the deepest darkest hole you can find. I don’t condone violence but this is going to result in it. There are a huge amount of people really pissed off over this and someone is going to see Justice done.
As for me, I’m just going to take every opportunity to run cases up to SCOTUS in order to strip power from the Government on firearms.
I’m also going to actively work to have Boehner removed.

You are right, this blog is often inflammatory and very often not quite right on the nuances of things that go on in Washington indeed. This is believable about Boehner of course - but it’s also easy to believe this blog is misinformed.
If this is true, I’m ready to have Pelosi back as House Speaker. At least then we KNEW who the enemy was...

You must be new to American politics. Once a United States President leaves office the rest of his administration leaves with him and the new President immediately stops any investigation of the old administration. If things were not done this way it would be way to tempting to start killing your rivals for fear retaliation.

Don’t go blaming only Boehner. My District 1 [View Map] Representative in Arizona in Trent Franks, is equally to blame if he does nothing to challenge Boehner. Note in the list below that only Ed Pastor is a Democrat. I have just written Trent Franks an e-mail asking what he is doing to stop Boehner from letting Holder off the hook.

Issa’s office has not heard anything about this and even if boehner wanted to ‘let it go’, he has no control over Issa’s committee.
