Rick Santorum tells South Carolina voters that he is the only conservative purist in the field, attacking Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney for being unreliable conservatives. Well, THE FREEDOMIST has already exposed Rick Santorum for his betrayal of a core conservative value, the right to work, the protection against Union thuggery. He is FOR right to work but NEVER votes for right to work legislation. He also endorsed Arlen Specter in his 1996 Presidential run, in 2004 against true conservative Pat Toomey, AND even endorsed Mitt Romney in his 2008 Presidential run. Well, worse than even his right to vote betrayal and his endorsements of RINOS and future democrats was the work that he did as a Senator in the Clinton years, when he and Trent Lott undermined the Senate efforts to bring Bill Clinton to trial after the House impeached him for lying under oath.
That’s right, this pure conservative, who attacks like a tiny lap dog (see Thursday’s debate for a classic example of what an attack lap dog looks like when he nips at the heels of others), was instrumental, along with Trent Lott, in stopping the Clinton Impeachmment proceeedings, in rescuing Bill Clinton from facing a fair trial of his peers. This action should not be surprising to the people who remember how aggressively Rick Santorum worked to torpedo a true conservative, Pat Toomey, in 2004, from removing a future democrat and former RINO, Arlen Specter.
Here is all the proof you need to see that Santorum, in fact, killled the impeachment proceedings against Bill Clinton, just another reflection of how Santorum is the face of Conservative Purity in Name Only (CPINO- which also sounds like the name of an exotic small wolf dop that yips and yips and yips at everyon’e ankles):....

At least Rick Santorum has never suggested an individual mandate.
Their list is meaningless without dates and whether or not the votes were on individual issues or part of omnibus bills. We have t remember that ear marks were the way that Congress got things done until the campaign against Ted Stevens made them a dirty word.

Wonder how long it will take Rush’s outsourced staff to find this ‘literal’ truth. They sure did find a floating deception and screamed it from the mountain tops... Wonder what would have happened in Florida had Rush done his own homework before he did a 3 hour infommerical for the other candidates. Rush is barely making 50% accuracy.
You are correct. And his current lifetime is 84%, Paul is 88% and Newt 100%. I will support the one most likely to beat our common enemy. Please refrain from attacking anyone but the marxist pig in the white house. He is the enemy of every free man on the planet. He is the hater of the American Way. He is the usurper, the tyrant, the jug-eared chicago goon that has no right to occupy the white house. He is public enemy #1, not these candidates. Even Romney is a magnitude superior to the second rising of hussein.
You know, instead of pouting about it, you could do a quick search on Santorum's Senate voting record, and post his conservative votes (if you can find any).
Or would you prefer that we just accept Rick's word that he's a true conservative?

Gingrich does NOT have a lifetime ACU rating of 100. It is 88.
If you want closer to 100, look for Joe Scarboroughs 95. He’s more conservative than all three, apparently.
FR admins and JR to my knowledge have not endorsed Noot. When I was getting flamed by Newties last week admins stayed out of it, which is proper. The larger problem is that some Newt supporters feel that support for anyone else is stupid. As Dana Loesch says, I don’t fall in love, and I won’t fall in line.
One thing the Republicans have done exceedingly well this election cycle... clearing the playing field for Obama. How nice.

Use me as an example. I know Gingrich and haven’t liked him for a few years. I liked some of what he had to say before a few years ago. I respected him during the contract with America but after his affair came forth and I paid closer attention I saw him for a needy, selfish character but glad he was saying what he was saying. Since the Pelosi couch and all, though, I disliked him, until I started enjoying his debates and his attacks on the media.
I have only unfollowed One person on twitter. I’m just not motivated to unfollow people. But that one person was Newt and it was a couple years ago, not long after twitter began. He just goes Wayyy off the reservation. And his slipping wayyyy out of matrimonial promises is a symptom too.
Santorum might have voted in ways that don’t please me, but it’s like Mayor Koch used to say. If you agree with someone more than 80% of the time, what is wrong with you? I pay close attention to all the negative criticism about Santorum and I would be willing to change my support but nothing I have learned has made me waver. He’s a conservative if I am, and I consider myself a strong one. But I have my issues that might seem less than conservative to you. We all do. He is the type of personality to grow and thrive within responsibility. I like the way he has stewarded his family through more heartaches than they deserve. He’s the kind of man I’d want in the white house, the kind of man I’d want to shake the hand of.

Rush is irrelevant to me now. I like his BlueBerry Tea, but it's too expensive...LOL.
Jim Robinson has endorsed Newt - and has been crystal clear that the purpose of this site is not to tear down conservatives.
I understand that perfectly, even if my preferred candidate is different.
Many Newt supporters have been positive toward Santorum and cheered him where he appears to be beating Romney.
Yet - others are hell-bent on tearing down Santorum as if that's going to benefit Newt.
Where do you stand?
