Immediately after hearing that Georgia Judge Michael Malihi ruled against the Plaintiffs in the case regarding Obamas eligibility to be on the 2012 presidential ballot, and hearing that Malihi was a Muslim Iranian, I decided to find out all I could about him. Is his ancestry really Iranian? Is his faith really Muslim? And did either of these things, if true, play a role in his decision to side with Obama in the Georgia eligibility hearing?
I set out to find all the details I could. What I found was precious little.
Judge Michael MalihiJudge Malihi is the Deputy Chief Judge for the Georgia Office of State Administrative Hearings. He was appointed Judge in 1995. If you go to the official website for his office, what you dont find may be more interesting than what you do find. On the OSAH website there is a page which lists bios for all the judges, including Malihi. I clicked on Malihi and all that was listed for him was this:
Thats it! If you click on the links for all the other judges listed, you will find a brief bio telling of where the particular judge was born, where they went to school, etc. But for Malihi? Nada! Zip! Niente! Bupkis! Nothing!
I decided to look at other websites for other state or federal judges to see if its common practice to have absolutely no information listed in their bios.
The Federal Judiciary Center has a massive list.
The directory includes the biographies of presidentially-appointed judges who have served since 1789 on the U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Courts of Appeals, the Supreme Court of the United States, the former U.S. Circuit Courts, and the federal judiciarys courts of special jurisdiction.
I examined a sampling of about 50 judges listed on this site and they all had bios which contained at least when and where they were born, when they died if applicable, where they went to school, where they practiced their career path.
At the official Supreme Court site, bios of all judges were listed.
I looked up judges in various states, in a variety of different roles and guess what? Out of the approximately 15 different sites I visited for different states, bios were present for all judges! I looked up Circuit Court judges, Appellate judges, Superior Court judges, and more. They ALL had bios listed.
Nothing on Judge Michael Malihi.
Isnt that interesting? So I ran searches on several search engines on his name. Was I able to find out much more?
On Google, all I found was essentially what has already been posted on this blog, and others regarding his recent ruling in favor of Obama and his eligibility to be on the 2012 Presidential ballot in GA.
You haz a lot better than so-so. And no excuses!
Posting a picture of my spectacular self in nude repose would send the hearts of FR’s ladies (AND gentlmen) into arrest.
Not with thoughts of fascinated desire, but shock, horror and an inability to grasp how such a bizarre thing could exist ... In my mind, however, I picture my 20 YO self - A veritable Greek Adonis. My mind is...unfortunately, deluding itself ;)
I have to keep all those 20 YO nude (artful though they may be - I was a student and needed the money) pix of me under wraps for my 2016 presidential bid. Then spring them on the public guaranteeing my.... run through the country side ahead of the enrages and pitchfork wielding masses.
I do however, have a couple more modest ones from my many years studying the lost art of nude ammunition reloading...
Laz can tell you all about it ;)
LOL! You crack me up!
Sorry you need reinforcements. Hi, Lazamataz!
OH SURE!!! Laugh at my nudity!
Well let me tell YOU something! YOU aren’t the first woman to laugh hysterically at....wait a second....
Actually I pinged Laz as he has a unique perspective on my reloading skills. He and I were recently discussing the issue and I’m sure he’d offer some profound insight ;)
And I was kidding about you laughing at me ;)
Sadly, no flair.
However, comma, give me a mig welder, or a broken Yamaha carb, and I'll show you art! Ever seen a statue of an engineer? Or opera about an engineer? Yah, didn't think so. If there ever was a neglected 'class.'
Laz can tell you all about it
Naw, Laz is going to link to the YouTubes of his nude arc welding days.
Boy, we sure sent this thread sideways, eh? Whatever.
Hey Norm! Thanks for the zot ping.
Looks like the Squeeky wheel got more than grease!
Re: your ammo reloading skills and choice of activewear—we’re not laughing with you, we’re laughing AT you! ;)
I meant to ping you to 131.
We have a judge with as little history as the pres__ent. Curious.
Hell, we’ve got county commissioners with bio articles in Wikipedia, but this judge? Nada. No surprise, I guess.
Sorry for taking your thread on a tangent, Windflier.
This backwater judge wants to live another day. Can’t blame him.
Maybe time to start the second phase of files of the politically lately departed... there seeem to be more than a few associational demises lately...
Great limerick there, Chief Druid. Glad to see you in tip top form.
Perhaps you’ll catch us up with tales of your recent wanderings. It’s always nice when you drop in from the road.
Our gut instincts agree on that.
