Who is Judge Michael Malihi?
Intangible Soul ^ | 4 February 2012 | intangiblesoul

Posted on 02/07/2012 7:15:53 PM PST by Windflier

Immediately after hearing that Georgia Judge Michael Malihi ruled against the Plaintiffs in the case regarding Obama’s eligibility to be on the 2012 presidential ballot, and hearing that Malihi was a Muslim Iranian, I decided to find out all I could about him. Is his ancestry really Iranian? Is his faith really Muslim? And did either of these things, if true, play a role in his decision to side with Obama in the Georgia eligibility hearing?

I set out to find all the details I could. What I found was precious little.

Judge Michael MalihiJudge Malihi is the Deputy Chief Judge for the Georgia Office of State Administrative Hearings. He was appointed Judge in 1995. If you go to the official website for his office, what you don’t find may be more interesting than what you do find. On the OSAH website there is a page which lists bios for all the judges, including Malihi. I clicked on Malihi and all that was listed for him was this:

Deputy Chief Judge Michael Malihi
Appointed Judge 1995
Contact

Valerie Ruff
Case Management Assistant
vruff@osah.ga.gov
Tel: (404) 651-7595
Fax: (404) 818-3751

That’s it! If you click on the links for all the other judges listed, you will find a brief bio telling of where the particular judge was born, where they went to school, etc. But for Malihi? Nada! Zip! Niente! Bupkis! Nothing!

I decided to look at other websites for other state or federal judges to see if its common practice to have absolutely no information listed in their bios.

The Federal Judiciary Center has a massive list.

The directory includes the biographies of presidentially-appointed judges who have served since 1789 on the U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Courts of Appeals, the Supreme Court of the United States, the former U.S. Circuit Courts, and the federal judiciary’s courts of special jurisdiction.

I examined a sampling of about 50 judges listed on this site and they all had bios which contained at least when and where they were born, when they died if applicable, where they went to school, where they practiced – their career path.

At the official Supreme Court site, bios of all judges were listed.

I looked up judges in various states, in a variety of different roles and guess what? Out of the approximately 15 different sites I visited for different states, bios were present for all judges! I looked up Circuit Court judges, Appellate judges, Superior Court judges, and more. They ALL had bios listed.

Nothing on Judge Michael Malihi.

Isn’t that interesting? So I ran searches on several search engines on his name. Was I able to find out much more?

On Google, all I found was essentially what has already been posted on this blog, and others regarding his recent ruling in favor of Obama and his eligibility to be on the 2012 Presidential ballot in GA.

Less than two years here on FR. Yeah, you’re new here. I don’t take anyone seriously who uses “thingy”, “and everything”, “stuff”, “Tee Hee! Tee Hee!”, and condescension to try to make their point. And by the way, judges hand down bad decisions with case law to back them up all the time. To wit and for example, the infamous 9th District Court of Appeals.

Well, I hate to admit it, but I am just dying of curiosity how somebody decides a judge has made a bad decision when they haven’t bothered to read the case the judge based his decision on.

Was there a seance??? Did the candles all blow out??? Were there voices and did the table jump up and down??? Cause that would be kind of trippy.

I'm not presuming anything, either, in this thing. I'd agree that Malihi's opinion is flawed, relying as it does on Arkeny, which holds 14th Amendment citizenship to be the pricise equivalent of "natural born" citizenship. Furthermore, the judge in Arkeny arrived at his fallacious conclusion by citing Wong Kim Ark, which doesn't address the Article II "Natural Born Citizen" clause at all.

Did someone pressure Malihi to write the judgment that he did? Could be, but I would think the people who might have done so had no connection to Iran.

At a guess, I could say that’s why the Harvard Law School group photographs between 1987 and 2003 are missing:

You, Miss Squeeky, are off your ever lovin’ rocker. Call that an ad hominem if you like, but given your behavior here, I’m just stating a fact.

I don’t know what’s going on with you, or what sort of interpersonal relationship issues you have, but one thing is certain — you can’t have a civil conversation to save your life.

I’ve tried very hard to bring you up to speed on where you are, and who you’re talking to, but apparently that’s gone in one ear, and out the other. Again — this is an established community of real people who know each other quite well — many in real life. Some relationships here go back well over a decade, and even many newer members have established themselves as decent, intelligent, and worthy individuals.

Respect here is earned - not given under duress. I’ve earned what respect and friendship I have here. And I have quite a bit, primarily because I understand the simple concepts of courtesy and manners. No one’s asking you to bow and kowtow to anyone. Simply act like an adult, and you’ll probably be alright. Keep up the nasty tongue lashing routine, and your days here will be few.

You need to get it through your head that this isn’t YouTube, or some other open forum where no one cares if you’re a trash mouth. Step out of line here too often, and the owner may bounce you off the forum.

I think the people who might have pressured Malihi have connections that are much further west.

That was very well said; thank you. I haven't got a terribly impressive tenure (to put it mildly) built up yet, but I've known since even before I signed up that the level of decorum and civility expected in this place is an order of magnitude above what I've witnessed by this individual, both on this thread and on previous ones.

Sniff, sniff.

Lots of luck , there is no one with any guts in this country , except Sheriff Joe.

Not sure about Sheriff Joe ... his investigation of Obummer were scheduled (originally) to reveal their results in February (this was back in early December).
Now March ...
Don't hold your breath.

I checked its short posting history, and it's full of bitter nastiness toward one and all. Utter rudeness is about the best way to describe that one's attitude.

You can't even begin a discussion with someone who behaves like that.

On Tuesday, July 12th, a state judge dismissed a residency challenge by House District 139 candidate Anissa Jones who contended that her opponent, James Beverly, doesn’t live in the East Macon district..

State judge assigned to Bibb-Monroe County border dispute
Macon Telegraph, The (GA) - Tuesday, September 1, 2009
Author: Mike Stucka, mstucka@macon.com
A state judge was assigned Monday to scrutinize a long-standing Bibb-Monroe county border dispute. Deputy Chief Judge Michael Malihi will hear the case late this month in the Office of State Administrative Hearings. However, his intervention won’t settle the case. Malihi will review the facts and make a recommendation, which would be sent back to Secretary of State Karen Handel. The judge will review the plat, a land survey, Bibb County’s protest to the survey and Monroe County’s response to the protest.

State will review complaint against Clayton school board
Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The (GA) - Friday, July 4, 2008
Author: JOHN HOLLIS, MEGAN MATTEUCCI ; Staff
Gov. Sonny Perdue said Thursday a citizens’ complaint asking him to remove the Clayton County school board has merit and has forwarded the case to a state agency for further review.

Five Clayton County residents filed the complaint with Perdue on June 23, saying the board lacks leadership and is floundering “like a rudderless ship.”

Perdue referred the matter Thursday to the Office of State Administrative Hearings.

“I have reviewed the complaint, and I believe that it raises sufficient, specific allegations that warrant review,” Perdue said in a release.

Administrative Judge Michael Malihi will hear the case at 8 a.m. on July 17, two days after an election for seven board seats.

MARINA DECISION REVERSED - COURT NARROWS INTERPRETATION OF COASTAL MARSHLANDS PROTECTION ACT
Savannah Morning News (GA) - Friday, July 13, 2007
Author: MARY LANDERS, 912-652-0337, mary.landers@savannahnow.com
A much-lauded Georgia law that protects the salt marsh can’t be applied as widely as environmentalists would like, the Georgia Court of Appeals ruled Wednesday.

The decision is a win for mega-developers, who have long contended the Coastal Marshlands Protection Act applies only to those portions of a project that touch the marsh.

“We are grateful the Court of Appeals has corrected the Administrative Law Judge’s mistakes concerning the permitting of these important amenities for our homeowners,” Atlanta-based Land Resource Company CEO Mike Flaskey said in a written statement.

Land Resource is building Cumberland Harbour, a 1,068-home luxury community in St. Marys. Its application for the state’s largest marina complex - two full-service marinas and three community docks that could accommodate up to 700 boats - sparked a series of legal challenges.

In March 2006, Administrative Law Judge Michael M. Malihi instructed the Coastal Marshlands Protection Committee to consider the impact on the marsh of not only the proposed marina complex, but also the houses and roads in the development.

I did a little further sleuthing. This one even managed to annoy people at Doc Conspiracy's site. I did note that she managed to work in some "helpful" legal advice for "PJ Foggy" though.

Oh, and she's been pimping her lame poem all over the net as well.

Mental illness is not pretty. BTW, isn't Lynette "Squeeky" Fromme the name of one of Charles Manson's followers who aimed a loaded gun at Gerald Ford?

If someone had honor and was threatened, they would do exactly as you described. And if there were many of them making the threats known, publicly and all at once, this would protect them.

If the MSM wasn't in the administration's pocket, I'd agree, but if they won't print it, it will be a non-event. Fast and Furious comes to mind, with incredibly little coverage in the media.

That was one weird nut-case.

I clicked the posting history link you provided and word-search counted the number of times she referred to her “BFF Fabian Sheen” in her replies.

At least 35.

Maybe there is something to that? Maybe I’ll start deluging my replies with references to my BFF The Old Lady.

Or maybe not.
