We used to live in Slidell when my husband was stationed over at the river boat unit at Stennis over in Mississippi. It always struck me as more conservative than their neighbor to the south (N.O).

I've already been corrected on my statement by others. Sorry about that and, you're probably right. In giving a bit more thought to the situation, I suppose that Slidell is more like a bedroom community for NOLA. And, by the way, I had two different jobs at Stennis Space Center and finished up my working years at Michoud Assembly Facility in east NOLA.
