Maybe you might consider dropping to your knees and pouring out thanks to God for his grace.

I have a friend who has always home schooled her children, very faithful family to be at church every time the doors are open and involved in activities as a family. One of their children is now in rehab.

You sound like the libs really, blaming her actions on the parent. Every one has to make a decision how they will respond to situations in life. This man’s daughter made the wrong decision how to respond to parental authority.

I guess you’d tell my friend she and her husband have no parenting skills.

Maybe Carol Kent was a bad parent too.

No, the guy doesn’t seem like a moron.

He seems almost too good in his role to be true. I kinda hope this is a spoof because if this is real, their relationship will be irreparably damaged.

She’s the 15 year old who made a stupid, insulting post on Facebook.

He’s the adult who should have shown her the post, told her what he told us about how much she had hurt her family by posting this, and taken away her laptop and phone for a long period of time, but not forever.

It’s really funny but that father/daughter relationship is over.

However, I’m still hoping it was a big act.

That was a Windows laptop. All he needed to do was browse onto a casino site, and the dadratted thing would have been eaten alive by viruses, scareware, phish pages, spyware and Internet Explorer toolbars in minutes.

>Oh, please. You can be the most magnificent, wise, kind parent in the world and your kids can still get into trouble, do drugs, get pregnant, have a bad attitude, get bad grades, or have other problems.

My theology would affirm this: God, who is perfect, had some kids who rebelled... and in so doing bought into the worst inheritance program ever (sin).
