It is troubling and tiring to hear someone tell us how perfect he/she is. We have been told by Romney what a wonderful family man and capitalist he is. We have listened to Bachmann’s and Santorum’s sanctimonious screeds.
A person who admits to being less than perfect reminds us of our own humanity and frailties. Newt is US.
For all of Newt’s human errors - his ideas, stamina, intellect, respect for his fellow Americans and love of our heritage are needed more than at any time in my memory.

Don’t be an ass.
I have accurately stated Church teaching on evolution. It is OK to accept it, in the Catholic faith, as a method of Creation that God may have used.
And, yes, I am claiming that I have always been Catholic, even before Baptism.

Actually as a Catholic you should know that had you died before you were baptized your soul would not have gone to heaven, because you still carried the original sin with you that was only taken away when you were baptized into the Catholic church. Didn’t they teach you that in Catechism

I was also taught that it did not require a Priest to baptize.
I was also taught that it was possible to be baptized more than once, informally and formally.
You know nothing of me, and any Priest with any knowledge would tell you that it is entirely possible to enter the Catholic Church nearly immediately after birth.
You are a pedantic know it all jerk.
