The Miami Herald is reporting that Martin County Sheriff Robert Crowder will enter the Republican primary race in the yet to be finalized 18th Congressional District that will have him facing off against Congressman Allen West. Crowder’s entrance to the race is very peculiar, as his endorsement of Democrat Gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink in 2010 over now Governor Rick Scott is still very much remembered by Martin County Republicans.

This just about tears it with me and the GOP. Allen West is one of about...oh...say, one...person in Washington who speaks what he’s thinking regardless of its impact on reelection. The GOP seems determined to put people in office over whom it thinks it has absolute control. We need to support West by any measure we can.
The Democrats - win no matter what so they can get that taxpayer money.
Remember FL is where the Democrat lawyer launched a fake tea party “party” to dilute votes.
I suspect this is more about establishment RINOs trying to make an example.

The South Florida republican establishment has been against LTC West from the start. There are a lot of Charlie Crist types still running around. They did all they could to shut him out, there were some really shameful displays.
The man is definitely presidential material.
