I finally found out what the poor kid’s lunch was.
Turkey and cheese sandwich.
Apple Juice.
Banana.
Potato chips.
Why in HELL did they take that away and give her nasty nuggets? When will people rip their kids out of these public skrewels?
The sandwich was even on “white” wheat bread.
Let’s see,
Turkey and cheese? There’s good protein and fat (yes, fat can be good) in there.
Apple Juice? Fiber.
Banana? Fiber and potassium.
Potato chips? More potassium.
Clearly, there was no nutrition in this lunch. Actually, minus the apple juice, this sounds like my lunch almost every day at work...
They didn’t take away her sack lunch but did force a lunch tray on her. Why not just a veggie if that was their problem.
Payback would be for her parent to run for school board and win. But the parent won’t because parents are too lazy these days to demand quality service for their tax dollars.
