Okay, so Im a sucker for show tunes and glam rock.
Yes, I enjoy the amazing talent of Idina Menzel in the Broadway hit Wicked. Absolutely, I am left awestruck after hearing the wonderful scores of Claude-Michel Schönberg in Les Mis. And lets not even dispute the fact that Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, along with the rest of the folks in Fleetwood Mac are actually seraphim sent from the very throne of God to give us the eleventh commandment, which is dont stop thinking about tomorrow.
If all of that makes me less of a man, then men need to do some serious introspecting.
So when Glee, the show that perfectly captures what it is like to go to high school in the Midwest (on another planet) hit the airwaves, 12 year old girls swooned, high school Glee Club members rejoiced, and music fans like me now had to try to figure out how we could get away from our friends for an hour a week, with the doors locked and the blinds pulled, to indulge in a little show tunage without them really knowing we were watching Glee.

But you do have to be gay to watch "Glee."
My 22 year old daughter watches this show. I have no idea what she gets out of it as I have never seen it and never will.
I cancelled my cable 2 months ago and don’t miss it at all.
A bunch of people pushing the homosexual agenda, that’s why.
The blonde cheerleader on the show is H-O-T-T.
Dr. Rick Marshall: It, it's left over data from the drive. What a piece of crap!
Dr. Rick Marshall: The machine, I mean, not A Chorus Line. I love showtunes, they really tell the story of the human condition.
Holly Cantrell: It's a bit gay.
Dr. Rick Marshall: It IS great.
(And Matt Lauer can still....)
Land of the Lost
A better question is why do we call homosexuals “Gay”?
Wouldn’t they be better described as “angries”?
LOL!
"Gee, Wally... Wait'll Dad finds out you joined the Glee Club."
Glee = reincarnated up with people
I train a teenage boy as one of my clients. It turns out he loves watching Glee with his parents and he doesn’t have a girlfriend.
Tell me he doesn’t sound a bit gay. And that’s how the homosexual agenda works. =( They normalize their perversion and make you expect it as if its normal.
Glee is an awful show I can’t help but /SMH at every time I pass it by while channel surfing.
Ward always felt uncomfortable about Walter running around with that Haskell kid.
I took his advice and did some serious introspecting.........what are some of the indicators of homosexuality?.....like the tunes from OKLAHOMA?......not necessarily gay......let Barney Frank ride you like the plastic pony in front of the grocery store......I’d say that would definitely make you gay......just my opinion....
3 of the central characters are gay and one of the central characters has gay parents.
It’s ridiculous.
Steven Speilberg’s SMASH is another alternative for a music show.
“If all of that makes me less of a man, then men need to do some serious introspecting.”
Isn’t that point, of articles like this, perception management? In other words, my revulsion to an aberration such as this is not normative behaviour? Will the hilarity never stop?
Pretty much describes it in Reality.. self-identification issues: being overweight, single parent, pregnancy issues, physically challenged, the geek..etc.. Not so much about the football player and the cheerleader anymore "the popular kids". But they were out partying, having sex, overdosing on socially accepted stimulants. The Glee kids were always there; but no one really talked about as having worth in society. Some of them might be described as misfits that didnt get invited to those popular parties; but were gifted with musical talent. All kids just want to get through high school school, college and/or on to a career.
Ah, so that's why Ellen DeGeneres was praising the show... Lol.
