Most Threatening Homeschool Bill in the Nation
HSLDA ^ | February 17, 2012

Posted on 02/22/2012 8:51:32 AM PST by Sopater

On February 13, 2012, Representative Bob Evans (District 91) filed a bill in the Mississippi Legislature that would require parents to obtain permission from a judge to homeschool their children. House Bill 464 would impose a duty on school attendance officers to collect and maintain unspecified and unlimited information on all children being homeschooled and to report this information to the judge of the youth court or chancery court. This information would be used “for the purpose of exempting such children from the truancy laws of this state.” There is no requirement in the bill that there be any case before the judge involving the child whose home instruction program was being reviewed. The judge could simply review the information from the attendance officer and decide that a child’s home instruction program was insufficient, using whatever standard the judge wanted to apply.

Unfortunately, this sounds all too familiar to homeschoolers in Mississippi.

On March 23, 2011, Judge Joe Dale Walker of the Chancery Court of the Thirteenth District issued an order requiring attendance officers to provide to him the names and addresses of all students and their parents within his jurisdiction who were in a home instruction program. There was no case in Judge Walker’s court involving any homeschooling family for which he supposedly needed this information. According to Judge Walker, the purpose of his order was “to enforce the compulsory school attendance law ….” HSLDA represented families from each of the five counties within the Thirteenth District and challenged Judge Walker’s order in the Mississippi Supreme Court. On April 21, 2011, the court granted our petition and vacated the order. (You may read our article about this case online.)

But Representative Evans’ bill would accomplish even more than Judge Walker envisioned in his order last year. (Perhaps it is no mere coincidence that Representative Evans and Judge Walker share the same hometown in Mississippi where they are both lawyers.) If this bill were to pass, youth court and chancery court judges would rule homeschooling in Mississippi. They alone would have the authority to decide whether a family might continue to homeschool, even when the family had not been accused of failing to comply with the law. Mississippi would change from one of the best states in which to homeschool to the absolute worst.

Prompted by Home School Legal Defense Association’s e-lert to our members and friends in Mississippi on February 15, 2012, hundreds of homeschoolers contacted members of the two legislative committees to which the bill had been assigned. After only a few hours, key legislators offered assurances that HB 464 would not go anywhere in these committees. They complained that they were not able to give attention to other bills because of all the calls and emails they were receiving about HB 464. The homeschoolers had gotten their attention.

In response to the many calls and emails Representative Evans received from outraged parents, he formulated a standard email reply, expressing his support of their right to teach their children at home. He said that passage of the bill would mean that “your children and all other home-schooled children will be protected from unwarranted government intervention ….” We can only imagine what the bill would say if Representative Evans were not a friend of homeschooling.

When will you need a Judge’s permission to take your children with you when you move out of Mississippi?

If my children were still in school, I would not only take them out of Mississippi, I would take them out of this country. PERMANENTLY until they were 18, then the choice would be theirs.

It is all about the money. Schools routinely get reimbursed for the students actually attending. Fewer students, less money. It is not about education

While you were sleeping, schools have been nationalized.

In this video series with Alex Jones, Charlotte says that she has documents that say that there will be no private schools in America.

13:58 on the first video – taking tax money means you will take the test
School to work is mentioned.

WARNING the following is pure sarcasm to illustrate the absurdity of government intervention.

There is a very simple solution that the government already provides and highly encourages which will prevent any of these school choice issues.

Simply exercise your choice to kill your child before they are born or shortly thereafter (and make liberals very happy and BO just loves the partial birth abortion) that way you will not have a problem attempting to exercise your CHOICE over schooling. Problem solved. You were just attempting “choice” that government and their commie union buddies do not approve of.

See how simple it is when you follow government’s recommended and approved method of choice?

Also, using this government approved method of choice, another confrontation with government would be avoided in later life if the person was in extreme pain and wanted to die.

The problem is, once you are born, all choice goes away thanks to government intervention. If they cannot nudge you to make the right choice (in their commie minds) they will tax you to make the right choice or if all fails they will use the full brute force of government to insure the right choice.

a bit more about your wonderful source Charlotte

Filmed interviews of Iserbyt have her detail her story that lead her from school board trustee/administrator to becoming a Ronald Reagan administration staff in the U.S. Department of Education, and discovering further to her complete disbelief how these policies of a socialist-collectivist nature originated all the way to President Reagan, Vice President George H. W. Bush, and their policy advisers.

“Up until 1960 Reagan, a leading member of United World Federalists (whose purpose was to merge America into a world government), was a charter member of Americans for Democratic Action. Reagan was also a member of the National Advisory Council of the American Veterans Committee[3] that was supposedly “under communist influence.”—— this is her claim and interestingly thye claim of folks like Ron Paul and the liberty lobby

“Ronald Reagan was a wonderful, warm man. He made you love him by small acts of kindness and beautiful gestures. Raspberry Gumballs and the President.

But what America needed was the simple truth and a champion for individual rights and the Constitution; That Ronnie did not have to give. Today we need that individual even more desperately. We have that in Congressman Ron Paul.”

“Iserbyt believes that the Bavarian Illuminati hid inside the Freemasons, and that the Skull and Bones Secret Society is derived from these Illuminati-degree Freemasons from Bavaria whose goals were documented in an original edition 1798 book Proofs of Conspiracy by John Robison in Iserbyt’s possession that she claimed was originally owned by the first president of the United States of America, Freemason, George Washington.”

Help yourself with that perspective.

We shall see who’s perspective is more reality based.

I’ve studied the globalists for 45+ years.

How long have you studied them? 45 seconds?

. . .

http://twoday.net/static/omega/files/quotes_from_people_who_consider_us_subjects.htm

13.”It was not my intention to doubt that the doctrine of the Illuminati and the principles of Jacobinism had not spread to the United States. On the contrary, no one is more satisfied of this fact than I am.” The Writings of George Washington 1798 letter.

27.”Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the Field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.” Woodrow Wilson,The New Freedom (1913)

18. “No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take a Luciferian Initiation.” David Spangler, Director of Planetary Initiative, United Nations
19.”We shall have world government whether or not you like it, by conquest or consent.” Statement by Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) member James Warburg to The Senate Foreign Relations Committee on February 17th, l950
20.”The world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes.” Benjamin Disraeli, first Prime Minister of England, in a novel he published in 1844 called Coningsby, the New Generation

Which, of course, should be expected . . . given Israel becoming a nation in 1948 . . . and there needing to be a global government within a generation of that . . . per Biblical prophecy.

But hey, folks have been disbelieving the Bible for a long time.

Now it’s even fashionable.

Though not so much on a conservative forum.

I may not be as old as you are but I have studied ( and continue to do so) both prophecy and conspiracy theory. I believe the Bible and it’s prophecies. I do not believe all of the conspiracy theories out there. Some folks embarrass themselves and others by painting with such a broad brush that everything ends up covered in the paint of the day.

Cherry pick all the quotations you want....I have discovered that most of them do not actually exist in the original documents. We are called to rightly divide the word and to use our God given brains. Jumping to conclusions, mischaracterizing data, making up quotations from non-specific sources is something that the left does well. I do not like it when it comes from conservatives.

When one uses Liberty Lobby and their writings and others like them for a staple in their arguments, I discount what is said until I can locate it myself. I have read Quigley. I know full well what the globalists intend. Not everything is a nail just because the only tool you have is a hammer.

You just reminded me....

The Lucis Trust

The Lucis Trust is the Publishing House which prints and disseminates United Nations material. It is a devastating indictment of the New Age and Pagan nature of the UN.

Lucis Trust was established in 1922 as Lucifer Trust by Alice Bailey as the publishing company to disseminate the books of Bailey and Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society. The title page of Alice Bailey’s book, ‘Initiation, Human and Solar’ was originally printed in 1922, and clearly shows the publishing house as ‘Lucifer Publishing CoIn 1923.’

Bailey changed the name to Lucis Trust, because Lucifer Trust revealed the true nature of the New Age Movement too clearly. (Constance Cumbey, The Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow, p. 49). A quick trip to any New Age bookstore will reveal that many of the hard-core New Age books are published by Lucis Trust.

At one time, the Lucis Trust office in New York was located at 666 United Nations Plaza and is a member of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations under a slick program called “World Goodwill”.

In an Alice Bailey book called “Education for a New Age”; she suggests that in the new age “World Citizenship should be the goal of the enlightened, with a world federation and a world brain.” In other words - a One World Government New World Order.

Luci’s Trust is sponsored by among others Robert McNamara, former minister of Defense in the USA, president of the World Bank, member of the Rockefeller Foundation, and Thomas Watson (IBM, former ambassador in Moscow).

Luci’s Trust sponsors among others the following organizations:

UN
Greenpeace International
Greenpeace USA
Amnesty International
UNICEF

The United Nations has long been one of the foremost world harbingers for the “New Spirituality” and the gathering “New World Order” based on ancient occult and freemasonic principles.

Seven years after the birth of the UN, a book was published by the theosophist and founder of the Lucis Trust, Alice Bailey, claiming that,

“Evidence of the growth of the human intellect along the needed receptive lines [for the preparation of the New Age] can be seen in the “planning” of various nations and in the efforts of the United Nations to formulate a world plan... From the very start of this unfoldment, three occult factors have governed the development of all these plans”

[Alice B. Bailey, Discipleship in the New Age (Lucis Press, 1955), Vol. II, p.35.]

Although she did not spell out clearly the identity of these ‘three occult factors’, she did reveal to her students that,

“Within the United Nations is the germ and seed of a great international and meditating, reflective group - a group of thinking and informed men and women in whose hands lies the destiny of humanity.

(snip)

Sri Chinmoy, the New Age guru, meditation leader at the UN, wrote:

“the United Nations is the chosen instrument of God; to be a chosen instrument means to be a divine messenger carrying the banner of God’s inner vision and outer manifestation.”

William Jasper, author of “A New World Religion” describes the religion of the UN:

“...a weird and diabolical convergence of New Age mysticism, pantheism, aboriginal animism atheism, communism, socialism, Luciferian occultism, apostate Christianity, Islam, Taoism, Buddhism, and Hinduism”.
