I agree Newt is the one who should face Obama. No longer, “It’s the economy stupid,” Now, “It’s the debate stupid.” I wish more Republicans could see this.
I thinks it's important to understand that a general election campaign *is* also a debate in general. A back and forth discussion and debate between Obama and Newt over the course of the election. Not even considering an actual debate there is a back-and-forth between campaigns. I think we should take this into account and realize Newt will have the best chance of keeping Obama on his heels with sharp well-focused attacks and counter attacks.
