(Vanity) Rush Limbaugh & EIB-Proxy Mark Stein : Why savagely pro-Santorum and anti-Newt Gingrich ?

.

Let's start with this news quote posted at Free Republic today (Thursday, 2012-03-01) coming from the Rick Santorum Campaign:

Top adviser John Brabender says Santorum's future may depend upon Gingrich leaving the race.

First, I'm a Newt Gingrich guy (Rush) ...

Second ... "if" I was a Rick Santorum, that (above) remark by a key Santorum strategist would scare the "daylights" out of me ...

Why ?

It is "clearly" delusional thinking ...

That's a "very bad" way to run a campaign ... very bad, indeed ...

"If" Rick Santorum goes to sleep every night ... with his final prayer being ... "Please convince Newt to drop-Out" ...

Rick Santorum is "clearly" delusional ...

BUT will Rush Limbaugh have the COURAGE to call Santorum on this ?

Newt Gingrich has many detractors ... but almost "all" of them KNOW that Newt's going to FIGHT LIKE HELL all the way to the Tampa GOP Convention ...

Newt will fight ... like Patton crossing Germany in the Fall of 1944 ...

If Nancy Pelosi KNOWS it ... so should "Little Ricky Santorum" ...

I guess Thursday's question is:

Will Rush Limbaugh discuss this point today ?

A couple of days ago Rush Limbaugh spent a long monologue (sp) stressing that "Rush lives in Realityville" ...

What would Rush Limbaugh say about a key Santorum Campaign Staffer (publicly) hoping that Newt Gingrich drops-out of the race ?

What "should" Rush Limbaugh say ?

Rush should kick Rick Santorum's XXXXX publicly ... with EXTREME PREJUDICE ... for that absolutely stupid remark ...

Period.

"What will we hear next from Santorum's Campaign ?" Rush would (should) ask ...

A) That Barrack Obama should admit that he's "really" a Moslem ?

B) That Barrack Obama should admit that U.S. unemployment is "really" 15-17 percent ?

C) That Barrack Obama should admit that he's "really" NOT a genuine U.S. citizen ?

D) That Barrack Obama should admit that he's "really" a freakin' racist ?

We've all heard Rush Limbaugh ... and that Rush-Alter-Ego (formerly respected) IDIOT ... Mark Stein ...

"SAVAGELY" attack Newt Gingrich ...

And we all know ... for a FACT that Rush Limbaugh would FIRE Mark Stein in a "New York Minute" if Rush felt that Mark Stein had crossed the magic line ...

The FACT is that Rush Limbaugh knowing invited (and re-invited several times) Mark Stein to the Golden EIB microphone ...

with the SINGULAR INTENT of Character Assassination against Newt Gingrich.

Did Mark Stein "savagely" attack anyone else ?

Nope.

And that's why ... after enjoying listening to Rush Limbaugh for ten-plus years ... I'm gradually weaning myself from his "agenda" and "show" ...

So where will Rush Limbaugh be today ?

Carrying MORE WATER for "Little Ricky Santorum" ?

"Explaining Away" what "Little Ricky Santorum" REALLY was trying to say ?

Give me a break ...

Anyway ... the Santorum Campaign really needs to stop making these "stupid" mistakes ... they are killing him ... politically ...

And Rush Limbaugh AND Mark Stein should just admit that's they're in the tank ... and in political bed with ... Ricky Santorum ... and the rest of the GOP E-RINO elite ...

Did it scare the daylights out of you when Gingrich said the same thing after South Carolina?

I think Newt will win GA. I don’t think his chances are very good in the other states.

My folks are Christians who have been married over 60 years. They don’t like Newt. I believe it is his marital history more than anything.

They see it as a character issue.

I guess anything can happen, so we will watch Super Tuesday and see what transpires.

The media is in full tip it to Mitt mode right now. They will probably keep that up through Tuesday.

Why not wish the best for either Santorum or Gingrich?

What good does criticizing one or the other accomplish, besides the good it does for Romney?

No one is an Andrew breitbart. We only got our one.

In defense of rush, had Andrew declared support for a candidate??

Prepare for incoming VinL ...the usual rabid Rushophiles will still be “buying” his faux “pro Santorum spiel” when Rick “craters” ...and Rush will “sorrowfully” console them as he gently leads them into the Romney corral “for the good of the Party.”

Amazing how some folks can become so invested in a voice on the radio that they throw aside all objectivity in order to sustain the belief that a guy w/his own broadcasting network and a huge private jet ...a man who takes off whenever he wants to golf w/the rich and famous at the poshest country clubs in the Lower 48 ...a man who maintains his private compound in the heart of one of the most heavily Democratic counties in FL ...is just one of “us.”

Rush is a great entertainer, though! ...and I applaud his support for the Marine Corps and Law Enforcement Officers charity he supports every year!!!

I didn't know that either Mark Stein, the rock star, or Mark Stein, the photographer, were into political commentary.

In talking about Santorum's win with the democrats, and Rush's Operation Chaos in the dem primaries, he said what he has never ever said before:

(paraphrasing) 'The number one reason for Operation Chaos was for the benefit of his program, to keep the primaries going and to keep his listeners interested and tuning in... and then he said the second reason was to bloody Obama.' he's never said that before but it was enlightening and alarming... and I wonder if that is what is going on now with a lot of these radio guys. it really hurt me to hear Rush say that..

Limbaugh is, and has always been, for Romney.

What evidence do you have to support this claim?

Newt is actually more of a threat to DC than Palin ever was...he actually did cut back Federal corruption and growth.

Until now he hasn’t really attracted much attention as nobody ever really considered him a seriuos presidential possibility.

“Rush stradles fences for personal gain designed to avoid agitating the fewest members of his audience as possible, while still maintaining his self identified “cutting edge”.”

He literally just said this is the exact thing he refuses to do just yesterday.

Rush was a big anti-Gingrich/pro Romney factor in the national “Bloody Thursday” effort to save Romney in Florida.

Rush has alway said that his goal is to attract and hold the largest audience he possibly can.

Looking at it another way its reassuring that he has chosen a conservative format to accomplish that.

I'm deeply suspicious of the sincerity of many of the hosts I hear on the radio (Rush isn't one of them) but if their program helps to enlighten the public and forward the conservative cause, who cares.

James Otis probably had ulterior motives for his 'no taxation without representation' crusade, but we should be damn glad he was around, regardless.

If it has been a "Romney-Gingrich race" for a long time, then we might as well give up and go home. Here are the results of all the states, with just Gingrich and Romney:
Iowa : Romney 65%
N. Hampshire: Romney 81%
S. Carolina : Gingrich 59%
Florida : Romney 59%
Nevada : Romney 70%
Colorado : Romney 73%
Missouri : Romney 100%
Minnesota : Romney 61%
Maine : Romney 85%
Arizona : Romney 75%
Michigan : Romney 86%
Wyoming : Romney 79%
Average for all states: Romney 73%, Gingrich 27%.

Meanwhile, Wyoming is now another state where Santorum came in 2nd, and if you add 4th-place Gingrich's numbers to Santorum, they BEAT Romney.

There has yet to be a SINGLE contest where Gingrich beat Santorum, didn't come in first, but adding Santorum to Gingrich puts them in 1st place. In other words, Gingrich has yet to prove he can capture the Santorum voters and beat Romney.

I am like in the minority; I think Rush would be ok with Romney and has been wanting him. That's just me. I wish Rush would support Newt more. Rush and H.W Bush are close friends. HW Bush has a grudge against Newt so, sometimes, I wonder if Rush has a loyalty to the Bush family. In truth, Rick is a pro union big government guy so I become confused when Rush says that Santorum is a real conservative. We know Romney is not a real conservative. Very confusing. I had to stop listening to Rush for awhile. Newt is the right man we need in these times. We are in a battle of the survival of the America we know. I don't see Romney being a general to take the fight to the radicals when he caters to liberals. Rick has the least experience putting a mass agenda together while arguing with the liberals. Newt handles the corrupt media while he brought welfare reform and balanced the budget.

That is all true and is why I stopped listening. Can’t rewrite that. Now, who lives in Real-ville.

Are you saying we need a hard-hide reformer and not another team player? Someone wrote me that yesterday and it made me laugh... the aforementioned person is taking daily baby steps toward Newt and away from Santorum... Newt can do this!

That’s the difference between a commentator and a leader. Andrew Breitbart was always a leader. A man who “kicked doors down” for the sake of the truth, at great personal cost to himself.

That’s a man. That’s a leader.
