VIDEO: Star Parker Claims Social Justice for Conservatism Amid Liberal Protesters
Campus Reform Online ^ | February 29 | Tony Listi

With the guidance and financial assistance of CampusReform.org, the Texas Aggie Conservatives hosted Star Parker, a prominent national black conservative leader and activist, to speak to about 200 A&M students and numerous online viewers last night about social justice, poverty, government dependency, and race.

But at least two dozen liberal students protested her entire speech by standing and turning their backs to her. See picture below or click here to see a very brief video clip of the protest.

Click here to watch her entire speech, which was fantastic!

She presented the social science facts and her own personal experiences of how liberal social mores and political policies drove her and continue to drive many people, into sexual recklessness, poverty, government dependency, and misery. She also explained how conservative principles like faith, freedom, individual responsibility, traditional moral values, and the free market are the engine of true social justice.

Parker started off by claiming the mantle of social justice for conservatism:

When you look at conservatives, we actually are social justice. It's not something we have to explain. It's not something we have to have protests about. It's not something we have to have long discussions in Washington about, force manipulated laws against others to do. We are social justice....

It is those who attend church on a regular basis that do social justice in their everyday lives. They're the ones who are volunteering in our homeless shelters. They're the ones who are volunteering in our crisis pregnancy centers. They're the ones who volunteer their time, donate their money to our services that are provided around the country. Think about most of the work that is done with the indigent. We are talking about the heart of conservatism....

Welcome to FR. You will find that a lot of us are well aware of what liberal stuff goes on on college campuses and how to best combat it. I should know, I went to UW Madison.

Excellent post. Thank you for sharing this and welcome to Free Republic.

Interesting that this event took place on the last day of Black History month. Clearly the leftists at A&M do not want to hear the truth about black history.

Star Parker's speech, and her response to these very disrepectful bunch of brats, was just outstanding.
