Kathleen Sebelius: Population Control Will Cover Contraceptives Mandate

Kathleen Sebelius is an abortion-touting genocidal maniac -- and apparently, a population-control advocate.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told a House panel Thursday that a reduction in the number of human beings born in the United States will compensate employers and insurers for the cost of complying with the new HHS mandate that will require all health-care plans to cover sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives, including those that cause abortions.

“The reduction in the number of pregnancies compensates for the cost of contraception,” Sebelius said. She went on to say the estimated cost is “down not up.”

Sebelius took questions from the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health about President Barack Obama’s fiscal year 2013 budget proposal.

First of all, the population-control argument is dead in its grave. We are not over-populating the earth.

Second of all, if the United States doesn't start popping out chilluns like the baby-boomin' years, our fiscal and economic condition will also become dead in its grave.

Fertility rates are plummeting in Europe, and the U.S. is arguably following a similar trend. We have entitlement programs that harbor more than $100 trillion in unfunded liabilities. The U.S. fertility rate currently stands at 2.0. The replacement rate -- the rate at which an economy needs to replace itself -- is 2.1 percent. We are .1 percent behind. And considering the stagnant economy, high abortion rates, and an overall shift in societal beliefs, this number will likely continue to drop.

Young workers fund this nation's fiscally-draining entitlement programs -- Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security -- and without these young workers, we will have to do one of (or both) two things: Raise taxes to 100 percent or inflate the currency to unspeakable levels. This translates into a communist government that has turned the dollar into kindling for fire -- just like the German currency after World War II.

In conclusion, a reduction in the number of pregnancies translates into the fiscal demise of America.

So Obamacare is a tool to set to the population of the United States at a fixed number.

What is the number that the Obama administration has determined the population of United States should be?

The only reason that the United States is not already completely impoverished, is that our fertility has been at a rate of 2.0.

The author is completely correct in that population control equals complete financial demise.

Sebillus is such a doofus. The US has a ‘zero-defect’ mentality when it comes to the health of our children. Combine that with the high availability of diagnostic testing, and yes, it cost a lot to raise a child... any child.

But then healthcare costs for an idividual drop on average as that child gets older. Then they rise again as that individual reaches “middle age”, and still more near the “End of Life”. If you could plot annual healthcare costs vs. Age you’d see something called the “Bathtub Curve”. It’s very familiar to engineers who look at statistical failure rates for their products.

So what Kathleen-the-idiot fails to realize is that all those “expensive” babies eventually turn into “productive” taxpayers who are relatively cheap in terms of healthcare costs. What she is advocating is the destruction of a goodly portion of the next generation to fill a near-term budget gap.

Try again?

“The reduction in the number of my mother`s pregnancies compensates for the cost of contraception.

I should have been reduced to zero to show you how it is done.

Scarity starts at home.

Kathleen Sebelius holds a secret inaugural party at the Governor's Mansion with one of her biggest donors, George Tiller, AKA Dr. Death.

I wonder what she’s holding in her hand. It looks like it says “attitude”, which would be appropriate.

So idiotic.

How many children does this twit think are born because the parents would only purchase and use birth control if it were provided for “free” via employer provided health insurance?

Who thinks “Well I cannot afford 9$ a month for pills, or a couple bucks for condoms - so I will just take my chances and have a (very expensive) baby if I get pregnant.”????

Who?
