If you ever wonder what MSNBC Contributor and Daily Beast columnist Meghan McCain thinks about anything, and care about the answer, you are alone and should find the nearest bridge. If you, like me, read her blog to see just how far someone with no talent can go in this country (as long as they have rich, famous and powerful parents to milk), then read on.
I can’t say Meghan “isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer” because she’s, at best, a spoon. Even the butter knife reads her stuff, or hears her talk and thinks, “Oh, dear God.”
Yesterday, in reply to someone named “Purlgrrl,” Meghan took on one of the most pressing issues of the day – “Who is your favorite president, and why?”
Many have been asked this question before and, if you’re of average intelligence, it normally leads to an interesting discussion of accomplishments of various presidents, and helps you learn something about the person answering it. But we’re not dealing with someone of average intelligence, we’re dealing with someone who thinks President Obama deserves an “emoticon of privacy.”
Right off the bat you know this is going to be a stupid post. When someone writes or says “It goes without saying,” you know whatever it is we could do without. It’s used here because Meghan thinks it makes her sound as though she’s given this some serious thought.
She may have given her answer serious thought, as much as she can.
Here is her answer…
“It goes without saying that this is a difficult question. I’d have to say it’s a tie between Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan. Abraham Lincoln because he was one of the greatest leaders of all time, and truly changed American history for the better. Ronald Reagan because he ushered in the Republican renaissance of the 1980s. My mother was pregnant with me at the 1984 Reagan convention, so he’s special to me in that way as well.”
That’s it. That’s everything Meghan McCain has to say about Presidents Day. The greatest presidents ever are Lincoln because (presumably) the Civil War and Reagan because of the 1980s, even though Republicans wouldn’t have control of Congress until 1995 (thanks to Newt Gingrich, who she hates) and because her mom was pregnant with her at the ’84 convention.
Her thought process amounts to answering “What’s your favorite movie of all time?” with “Citizen Kane because a lot of critics say that, and Bucky Larson because I had some really good Jujubes while watching it.”
For someone paid to give her opinion, she should try having one first. But that would require a clue and, as far as I can tell, she’s yet to spend any of her parent’s money on buying one.
That gave me a chuckle. :-)

And this is the person who CRIED when her dad picked Sarah Palin to be his running mate, who thought SP was SO dumb and was going to steal her spotlight, etc, etc, ....
This fat broad, who, on several occassions, kept telling conservatives (and Palin supporters) that they were too dumb and so-not-hip that they needed to take a seat ..... because she speaks for the future of GOP yutes.
She needs one of those “I wish these were brains” tee shirts.
Now that would be a reality show to watch. The Adventures of Meaghan and Chelsea. Kind of like that old Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie reality show. They would constantly be revealing one is dumber than the other. Tune in this week and watch Meaghan and Chelsea solve the Iran thingy.
What’s sad is we have Barry and Plugs actually in charge of the Iran thingy!

The airhead doesn’t fall far from the crazy tree, for sure.
