I think this has some personal history behind it. Perhaps an ‘etu Brute?’ moment where Caesar not only survived, but is on the counter offensive. Just guessing, but he is dealing with this one in a different manner.

I think so, too. This was/is personal between Rush and Sleep Train's founder. The only statement I saw was in the Sacramento Bee and it was pretty innocuous:

"As a diverse company, Sleep Train does not condone such negative comments directed toward any person. We have currently pulled our ads with Rush Limbaugh," the statement said.
