Skip to comments. The Harvard Hug: What Else Are Media Hiding?

Bias: We were wrong. The media elite did in fact vet this president, but they covered up what they found. And now that citizen journalists are digging it up, they're trying to rebury it.
Exhibit A is the controversial video of Barack Obama praising and hugging radical Harvard law professor Derrick Bell. The media knew it existed four years ago and conspired with academia to hide it to get Obama elected.
"We hid this during the 2008 campaign," confessed Harvard law professor Charles Ogletree. PBS had it then, but cut both the audio and the hug in a report on Obama's Harvard days. The footage served as wallpaper. Now that Breitbart.com has put the entire video online, the major media have gone into damage-control mode for Obama.
PBS claims, disingenuously, "there's nothing new about the clip." NBC's Andrea Mitchell misled viewers by claiming Bell was "not a radical firebrand" but a "distinguished professor."

This country is being murdered not in a titanic stab but a billion little cuts.
Of course the media covered up or covered over Obama’s radical left wing past.
Then, voila, there were two Negros at Harvard, then four, and maybe a dozen, and they met and hugged and lept about.
This is Harvard guys ~ not a normal place, and just about the last institution in America to be desegregated.
Did someone fail to notice that about the time that happened, Harvard's standards had fallen in the basement ~ and they've never recovered.
The Harvard grads of the last 30 years just haven't been up to snuff
It's a national disgrace.
BTW, Andria is easily fooled by elderly men with gold teeth.
sure Andrea, anything you say.
Now that I am learning a little more of the hyper PC environment
including the Derek Bell protest, “diversity” hires,
that Harvard Law School was during this period, I understand
how all contenders were rejected for Harvard Law Review editor
He can talk white and was acceptable for the minorities.
He didn’t inflame the conservatives.
Obama comes in riding on a white horse.
But it was only because of the hyper racist partisan poisonous
environment at the time.
He only wrote a short review about abortion. That’s it.
He never worked a day at Harvard Law. He just bull sh*** all day long.
That’s what’s on Breitbart’s tape. That’s what he does now.
Bull S***. world class BS artist.
We need to vet the media for all to see. They have colluded with organizations and people inside and outside of this country to bring about a secret coup from within while lying to the American public until the job is done. VET THE MEDIA we can all do it. Brietbarts Pollack began with so called journalist Solidad Obrien.
Certainly there are some videos of Prof. Bell’s vitriolic racist and antisemitic remarks just like there were of Rev. Wright. That is what is missing from this hug video. What did Bell say to the crowd after BHO lovingly introduced him?
Get OFF of this JUNK NOW!!!
We look like CLOWNS going after this stuff.
The VOTERS we want to CONVERT, don’t care!
Obama has a horrible record!
Obama has a horrible agenda!
THAT is what we need to go after!
These people in the media are a disgrace; They would defend Hitler.
You know so little about Harvard yet you continue to denigrate the school. Harvard actually has a long history of accepting minority students.
Sounds like you’re still p.o.’d that Harvard turned you down.
It’s called “media malpractice” ....and in any other so-called profession, the professionals conducting themselves in this fashion would be explaining themselves to a jury.
The moderates can be swayed and once they understand how badly they were hoodwinked, they will turn. No one likes to know they've been lead around by their nose.
What else are the media hiding - PLENTY!!! And this will become the narrative for 2012. Why are the Legacy Media and Obama allies afraid of showing the “real Obama”?
Answer - a history of radical associations and activities. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Obama participating in Farrakhan’s Million Man March.
The Harvard Black Law Students Association (HBLSA) was founded in 1967. Today HBLSA is the largest chapter in the National Black Law Students Association. With well over 100 members, HBLSA is truly reflective of the diversity that exists within the Black community of Harvard Law School. HBLSA alumni range from Charles Ogletree, renowned legal scholar and our very own advisor, to Deval Patrick, Governor of Massachusetts, to Debra Lee, CEO of BET, to Barack and Michelle Obama, President and First Lady of the United States of America.
I found that Barack might not be the only Obama on the tapes.
In May 1988, Harvard Law students, borrowing from Alinskys Rules for Radicals,
and foreshadowing the Occupy movement of 2011, occupied the Harvard Law
Schools deans office. The students were supporting Professor Derrick
Bells demand that the law school hire professors on the basis of race.
One of the students dressed in black and occupying the deans
office appears to be Michelle Obama (Harvard Law 88). Here is a link
to the grainy video. (lower right at about ten seconds in, wearing white Keds):

Students occupy Dean's office at Harvard Law School
1:00:17: Visual: Shots of Harvard Law students studying their textbooks as they occupy the Dean's office in the administration building of Harvard Law School. Most of the students are African American. Marcus Jones reports that 50 Harvard Law School students marched into the administration building in the afternoon; that most of the students are African American; that many of the students wore black as a show of solidarity.
David Boeri reports that a group of Harvard Law students occupied the Dean's office overnight to protest the lack of minority faculty at the school. Boeri notes that the students held a rally for their cause this morning. Boeris report includes footage of Charles Ogletree (Visiting Professor, Harvard Law School) addressing a rally of students outside of the school. Boeri notes that the sit-in is over for now and that student leaders met with James Vorenberg (Dean, Harvard Law School) to discuss their demands for an increase in minority faculty members. Boeri interviews Robert Wilkins (Harvard Black Law Students Association) about the meeting with the Dean.
Robinson majored in sociology and minored in African American studies and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 1985. She earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Harvard Law School in 1988. At Harvard she participated in demonstrations advocating the hiring of professors who were members of minorities and worked for the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, assisting low-income tenants with housing cases.
MUCH more here:
Harvard turned me down at three levels, but I deserved it and I'm not po'd about it, now that I've grown up.
There is no doubt that the intellectual ability of grads, even HMS grads, is in serious decline.
Now, that's part of a much larger trend, true, but it's also true that the mission John Harvard bequeathed to the New College was, in essence, to run counter to anti-intellectual and anti-social trends, a mission at which the College and associated Schools are now, quite conspicuously, failing.
“This is just as important”
NOT IT IS NOT!!!
The voters you want DON’T CARE ABOUT THIS CRAP!!
The important lesson here is just why is there taxpayer funding for PBS? What is the need to subsidize administration propagandists like Charlie Rose with hundreds of millions of dollars yearly in OUR money when there are a zillion cable channels, including those that will put on left-wing zealots/toupee’d kooks like Olbermann whom no one watches? For some reason, I thought the Reps controlled the House, where revenue bills are SUPPOSED to originate. Yet, we see story after story of this propaganda wing of the Dem party called “Public” Broadcasting that uses OUR money and no one puts an end to their feeding at the public trough.
