MSNBC: MORMONS BAPTIZED 9/11 HIJACKER: Will Mainstream Media destroy Romney over his Religion?

In 2007 – 2008, conservatives were apoplectic as they watched the mainstream media completely ignore Barack Obama's radical religion and pastor. They also ignored revelations that Rev. Jeremiah Wright posted the writings of a Hamas leader in his church's newsletter. If Mitt Romney is the Republican nominee for president, the opposite will be true. That same mainstream media will do an about face when it comes to vetting Romney's religion...

I want the church to release the name of the member who did this and have their political affiliations thoroughly examined.

It won’t just be his record.

They’ll use every left wing thing he has done, and it is legion, to utterly demoralize the base and completely depress turnout from the base.

With this kind of record:

1. Supported Gay Adoption
2. Supported Gay Marriage
3. Supported the Gay Agenda
4. Supported Abortion
5. Supported TARP
6. Did not support Bushes Tax-Cuts
7. Implemented an Assault Weapons ban.
8. Supported the Brady Bill
9. Implemented a Socialistic Healthercare system called RomneyCare

With this record, his Mormonism will be the least of his problems.

Romney’s record is a target-rich environment and Obama and his Minions in the MSM will utterly destroy him is he is the nominee.

"(The GroundZero Mosque) cleared its final hurdle ….
developers plan to build the $100 million center which will include a mosque.
Since its incipient stages in July 2009, when a Muslim-run real-estate development
company purchased the damaged, vacant building and land where the new center
will be built, the project has sparked controversy and debate.
.... the tattered building that was bought by the Muslim real estate company had
been owned by a subsidiary of Bain Capital, a company Romney founded in 1984.

So it’s OK if his company can profit off the sale of the land ."

“Bain Capital, has cut checks totaling $90,000 to Romney’s operation. “

My point is that mormons claim to be Christians, saying mormonism is Christianity.

obama doesn’t say “I’m a muslim AND a Christian.”

And, it is my fervent belief that Obama’s minions carry a prayer rug around for him to bow down and pray to Mecca five times a day. No one man or woman for that matter is solely responsible for the actions of his or her religion. If that were true then, we'd be hanging every Muslim in this country for the horror, murder and evil their religious brethren have wrought in the name of their religion. No sale here, even though I'm not voting for him.

Not to defend Romney, but Obama’s religion were the hijackers.

The Mormons have their own 911...Sept. 11, 1857: Mountain Meadows Massacre

Even though a few Mormon bishops, a Mormon stake president, a counselor to a Mormon leader, & other prominent Mormons were involved -- including (& because of) a clear-up by a Mormon "prophet" -- only one mass murderer was brought to justice.

Well, since when is prayer "offensive"??? [And if it's the Mecca part or rug or # of times you're referencing, hey the religion TELLS them to do that...so what the blankety-blank is that about "solely responsible" if the religion tells them it's "responsible" to do that?]

(Usually when somebody makes the kind of comment you're making, it's because some adherent has been "wayward" in some kind of way...how is praying 5x, use of a rug, or toward Mecca a "wayward" Muslim action? Your comment makes absolutely no sense whatsoever)

As for Mormons, what have they LONG been told about baptizing the dead -- including criminals & murderers?

Well, we don't have to go back very far -- just last October -- when the Mormons held their one of two General Conferences for 2011:

Per LDS Church News (see 'They are not forgotten' — Family history brings stake together [Mormons obsess with the dead]): In the October 2011 general conference, Elder David A. Bednar reiterated the words of the Prophet Joseph Smith who said: "The greatest responsibility in this world that God has laid upon us is to seek after our dead."

Bednar was quoting Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 356.

Smith's great-nephew, Lds "prophet" Joseph Fielding Smith, further stated: “But greater than all this, so far as our individual responsibilities are concerned, the greatest is to become SAVIORS, in our lesser degree which is assigned us, for the dead who have died without a knowledge of the Gospel. Joseph Smith said, ‘The greatest responsibility in this world that God has laid upon us, is to seek after our dead’…It will suffice here to say that the Lord has placed upon us this responsibility of seeing that our dead receive the blessings of the Gospel. Said Joseph Smith: ‘Those saints who neglect it, in behalf of their deceased relatives, do it at the peril of their own salvation.’” (The Way to Perfection, pp. 153-154)

Now...how do we know that Joseph Smith had in mind for Mormons to BAPTIZE every deceased person?

“No man can enter into the Kingdom of God but by the door and through the means that Jesus Christ has offered to the children of men. …NOT A SOUL that has ever lived and died from off the face of this earth shall escape a chance to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. If they receive it and obey it, the ordinances of the gospel will be performed for and in their behalf, by their kindred, or their posterity in some generation of time after them, so that every law and every requirement of the gospel of Jesus Christ shall be carried out, and the promises and requirements fulfilled for the salvation of the living and also for the salvation of the dead.” (Teachings of Presidents: Joseph F. Smith, p. 307, 1998; original source “Latter-day Saints Follow Teachings of the Savior,” Scrap Book of Mormon Literature, 2 vols. 2:561-562).

So...Mormons are simply doing what they're DIRECTED to do by their leadership!

And that is to obsess with the dead: “There is hardly any principle the Lord has revealed that I have rejoiced more in than in the redemption of our dead…” (Teachings of Presidents: Wilford Woodruff, pp. 192-193)

You have defined yourself long before this defense of Islam. You would rather defend Islam and its evil if the defense in any way helps defend the condemnation of MormonISM (as you Religion Chat guys like to call it).

I stay away from the religion thread because you zealots dominate it with your hate. In this case, the article was in Bloggers and Personal so I responded. The very last thing I wanted to hear from is one of you MormonISM zealots.

NO, YOU are the one who is giving out false either-or choices...

Lucky for the world that we had real LEADERS during World War II who actually could multi-task...multiple enemies...multiple theaters of engagement...multiple battlefronts...

Had you been an advisor back then, you'd probably have said: "You have defined yourself long before this defense of this Japanese attack. You would rather defend Japan and its evil empire if the defense in any way helps defend the condemnation of Naziism."

Translation: "I don't dialogue very well when it comes to religion; my posts -- like the one you referenced -- don't make logical sense. The very last thing I want to do is to actually have to listen to somebody else's opinion. It just might threaten my own." - Signed, Gaffer, making yet another Gaffe

Thanks for the offer of your unknown url, but I did my own research.

Again, not taking the side of the unprincipled slimeball Mitt Romney.

Evidently the unfortunately Baker-Fancher party from Arkansas, passed through Utah during a period of territory hostilities with the Federal authorities.

No less than Brigham Young, had allegedly forbidden travel through Utah during the hostilities without permission.

Evidently the unfortunate Baker-Fancher party was not aware of this, and were it may be, perceived as enemy agents.

This poster, 150 years later, with the benefit of perspective, would attribute this to “friendly fire”.

A mistake.

Obama’s religion by contrast, planned the attack on the WTC deliberately.

Are you trying to make excuses for that?

Let's cut the cr@P. Romney has always been my last choice. But it's time to stop demanding examination of his religious beliefs before we know anything about Omama's religious history, or even anything about any Obama history.

I did my own research.

(Not very thorough, were you?)

No less than Brigham Young, had allegedly forbidden travel through Utah during the hostilities without permission. Evidently the unfortunate Baker-Fancher party was not aware of this, and were it may be, perceived as enemy agents.

The party arrived in Salt Lake City without incident. No hostilities. No threats (either way). As territorial governor, Brigham Young could have had them do a u-turn...certainly...or quicker yet -- a very (relatively) quick way out of Utah Territory heading north to the Oregon Territory (now southern Idaho) -- the Oregon Trail.

No such thing happened. No confrontations. Nothing. The Fancher party headed straight into the very HQ of Brigham Young...and NOTHING happened.

From there, the Fanchers elected to take the Old Spanish Trail heading Southwest. At the time the attack occurred -- Southwest of Cedar City -- the Fancher party wasn't all that far North from the old Mexican border (now AZ)...[Here's an 1857 map: 1857 U.S. Map]

This poster, 150 years later, with the benefit of perspective, would attribute this to “friendly fire”. A mistake.

Sorry, but even in your "hostile" scenario, if you owned a LOT of ranch acreage...and you KNEW somebody had just mosied thru most of it in a "no harm, no foul" way...and they were continuing to exit that property & were close to the exit -- with no theft in hand of anything...for you to chase them down and kill them at will would be no defense of the law.

Otherwise, the hanging of John D. Lee -- the only man held accountable for the slaughter -- would have been unjust. Are you going to go out on a limb and claimed that John D. Lee was only guilty of engaging in "friendly fire" upon children and their moms & dads?

Even Brigham Young agreed to Lee getting hung (despite treating him like an adopted son). Why? So Lee could become a scapegoat and take "justice served."

(I wouldn't switch to anything history-related if you ever elect to switch careers)
