"Obama Will Win a Second Term" Bob Grant
Bob Grant Online ^ | March 14, 2012 | Bob Grant

"I have been criticized quite vociferously by many good folks who read this column and who listen to my weekly Sunday noontime broadcast on WABC, New York. I have been hammered because you say I am too pessimistic. Alright, fair enough. I guess I do come across as a pessimistic person. That is because I don’t see anything to be optimistic about concerning the presidential election. I know guys like Rush have made a huge fortune telling the public things they can’t possibly believe inside. Rush is a brilliant man who is a great showman. He has always been respectful to me and never failed to defend me back in the good old days before a cabal of liberals persuaded the Walt Disney Co. to fire me when they bought ABC. I never recovered professionally from that, but that is history and I don’t see any need to go over that terrain again.

So, let us focus on the present and the future. First of all, at the present time I see my Republican Party coming apart at the seams because they don't have any truly gifted candidates running to oppose Barack the Boastful. It is a shame that we can’t get one truly charismatic person to run."

Well, I agree there. Maybe that charismatic person will consider a third-party run if Romney is the GOP nominee.

A Third Party run would be stupid.
We have the House and the Senate to worry about.

Even if Romney gets the nomination, we still have many ways to turn back Obama, through control of Congress -—

A Third Party would be stupid and suicidal.

I like Bob Grant. However, he should invite Rick onto his show, and I think his opinion of him would spin around 180 degrees. Bob

Bob Grant got started in talk radio in Los Angeles back around 1963. He filled in for Joe Pyne. Joe Pyne was not a JFK fan. When JFK was assasinated the radio station had to take Joe Pyne off of the air temporarily because of death threats. Bob Grant filled in for him. I remember Joe Pyne used to tell some people to “go gargle with razor blades.”

Bob Grant is an all time great radio host. Was he better than Rush Limbuaugh? Maybe. Different , not totally political though mostly.

Also wrong on this, I hope. Bob Grant is unpredictable.

Did Bob Grant read the latest polls? The President’s approval fell to 41 percent with 50 percent disapproving. Why is he going out on a limb in the face of such sentiment?

Bob is right.

Barring unforeseeable events, Obama will win reelection.

We have probably had out last free election.
