Quite the contrary. This mild winter means less heating fuel used for homes. If it was a normal cold winter people would have to fuel up an additional time this heating season at about $700/tankfull of oil.
That, along with the price at the gas pump, would further alienate them from Obama. He caught a break this winter. - tom
