The Absence of Black Leadership in America – Beyond Trayvon Martin. Today, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and NAACP leader, Ben Jealous, marched in Sanford, Florida, the city in which Trayvon Martin, 17, was killed last month. These black leaders have come out in full force in support of justice for Trayvon, demanding that George Zimmerman, the shooter, be arrested. But, where are these black leaders when there’s not a tragedy they can profit from?

From your link:

From my reading, it seems this young man was pursued and there was no probable cause to engage him, certainly not pursue and shoot him….against the direction of the 911 responder. Let’s all be appalled at this instance not because of race, but because a young American man has lost his life, seemingly, for no reason.

What he read was the "press" coverage that was intentionally distorted to the point of outright lies. Is that an excuse? No. But it does not diminish my respect for Allen West.

There's only one thing that would stop the slaughter of young black males on America's streets. That would be strict enforcement of curfews and allowing police to stop and frisk all black males between 13 and 35. All gatherings of black males of more than three would be broken up. Would it all be unconstitutional? Certainly. Would millions of law-abiding black males be unfairly penalized for the actions of the few? Certainly. Would these stricter methods save thousands of black males from dying from violence at an early age? Again, certainly.

But it won't happen. Not only because it's unconstitutional, but a lot of liberal members of the legal profession would easily shoot it down for political reasons. They'd rather see the slaughter go on then do the right thing. And current black "leaders" are more concerned about getting re-elected and extorting money out of guilty whites than stopping the carnage. Therefore, the slaughter of thousands of young, black males by other young, black males will continue like it has for the last fifty years.

When there isnt a tragedy, Al,Jesse and other black leaders slither back into the swamp. They have their lackys gather up all the loot they were able to extort from various cities and companies{Jesse Jackson’s son got a Budwisser dealership by threatening the parent company afterall}.
Then they watch the results of their mission and wait til the next thing happens.

Prior to the 1960's, we did not have the degree of killing among young black men that we experience today. For the most part, black men in their 20's were either married or anticipating getting married, and married men tend to behave less irresponsibly.

What happened in the 60's? Welfare. Black women saw that they did not need a husband, because Uncle Sugar give them more income than being married to a low-income husband would.

So black men were left without purpose, and men without purpose die.

Even Alan West took Trayvon's side initially, until later info made that untenable.

If West is that quick to judgement, he is pandering to the brothers, and no better than Hussein.

Certainly not national leadership material.
