President Obama has taken a very risky course if the Supreme Court voted Friday to uphold Obamacare. If he believed that were true, he would likely have said he has confidence in the judgement of the Supreme Court Justices. If he were unsure, he would also tread lightly. Instead, he fired a verbal barrage at the Court.
US President Barack Obama on Monday challenged the "unelected" Supreme Court not to take the "extraordinary" and "unprecedented" step of overturning his landmark health reform law.Justices rarely change their opinion after the initial vote, but it does happen. Justice Kennedy has been known to switch sides on major cases after the initial opinions are written. President Obama may be hoping to pressure him to do so again. If he doesn't, President Obama has laid the groundwork for using this to motivate his base this November. It looks like he has been tipped off and the news wasn't good for him. If Obama was tipped off, many would suspect Kagan who was Obama's Solicitor General and an Obamacare supporter before her SCOTUS appointment.
In a highly combative salvo on a case which could have a critical impact on his reelection chances, Obama warned that health care for millions of people was at stake, even as nine Supreme Court justices deliberate the arguments.
"Ultimately, I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress," Obama said.
The US Supreme Court held compelling legal arguments on the health reform law, the centerpiece of Obama's political legacy, last week, amid a flurry of commentary predicting the law will ruled unconstitutional.
Obama noted that for years, conservatives had been arguing that the "unelected" Supreme Court should not adopt an activist approach by making rather than interpreting law, and held up the health legislation as an example. Read more here...
Only Obama would think the justices give a rat’s bazoo about his opinion on the matter. They don’t care what he about anything. They will do what they are going to do period. And it does sound like a little bird tipped Barry off that his POS healthcare bill is going down.
Given the dismal performance of the Solicitor General, Reid’s and Carville’s comments, and now this spume from Obama, either:
1) They are engaging in damage-control (it doesn’t require a leaker to see which way the wind blows on this one); or
2) They WANT the SC to find ObamaCare unconstitutional, so can provoke more astro-turf outrage, and have something to promise their voters in November. NBC can broadcast that the ruling says: “The Act looks ...unconstitutional; it appears to be black”.

I agree. I think something bad will happen, one of the justices will have a sudden illness and death or other tragedy. Do not underestimate the evil and corruption of this administration.

There’s an old video/interview where he declares that the constitution is “too restrictive”. He might be a “constitutional scholar” but that is very different than actually agreeing with it, which he doesn’t.
Everyone already had healthcare, because it is now and has been against the law to refuse to treat someone who shows up at an emergency room. What everyone didn't have, many for perfectly good reasons, is health insurance.
To the left, this may very well have been a problem of the lack of health insurance, but it's never been a crisis of healthcare. The cure, in this case, is worse than the disease.
I think Sotomayor may vote against. Kagan the Pagan, Ginzberg, and Breir are sure bets for bama.

Near as I can tell, Hillary KKKlintler and Leon Panetta got Bin Laden and then pulled Bork Obunga off his golf cart and told him about it, that is, after they finally got tired of watching the dufe (Obunga) sit on the info for six months without taking any action. I believe KKKlintler and Panetta are basically running our military at present and that Bork has nothing to do or say about it.
Lol, and a good chunk of that "strong majority" was thrown out on it's rear end in 2010 because it passed the so-called "Affordable Health Care Act. And several more have declined to run for reelection in 2012 for the same reason.

Bambi has been given the nod because "the fix is in" for declaring 0-care constitutional. He's doing all this posturing and threatening because when the verdict is announced, he can declare himself the all wise and powerful "O". You see, I'm so great that even the Supreme Court bows down to me.....yada yada yada ....

But Obama has blocked his records for a reason. I believe he is a Marxist Muslim who does not meet the Constitutional requirements for President, i.e. “Natural Born Citizen” and his career and education was expedited by money from the Middle East and he was closely associated with some of the most vile and virulent elements in the radical left.
As for your assessment of his intelligence relative to Clinton’s I do not agree. Remember, he BEAT the Clinton Machine back in 2008. Clinton’s intelligence lies more in the nature of a used car salesman - putting on a positive public front with the seductive personality of a dangerous sociopath. Obama’s lies more in the area of subtle scheming and working towards an insidious distant goal through well disguised triangulation and irrevocable determination by manipulating mass opinion.
Don’t let his speech writer “OBERMEISTER” trick you. It wasn’t “democratically”, it was “Democratically”...........
