George Will is wrong about Jindal for VP, Bobby only plays a conservative on TV
Bayoubuzz.com ^ | April 6, 2012 | Jeff Crouere

In his latest column, George Will recommends that presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney choose Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal or Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin) as his running mate. He claims that Ryan and Jindal have “intellectual firepower, born of immersion in policy complexities, sufficient to refute Obama's meretricious claims and derelictions of duty."

Obviously, Mr. Will has been in the Beltway for far too long. While Congressman Paul Ryan might not be a bad choice, Will has been reading too many Jindal press releases about the supposed reforms inLouisiana.

This should be in activism, Mods.

Thanks, Fly. All of my Jindal rants go unheard on FR. People don’t realize that Jindal is as unvetted as the Won! I scream from the rooftop, “Go to forgotston.com...go to thedeadpelican.com!!”.

Does morn=moron? Jindal is nothing of the such...he is the incarnation of BHO. The media will not report on what he does...they are in the tank for Jindal, just as they are in the tank for hussien.

Bobby Jindal is an improvement over the Democrat mobsters who were running Louisiana earlier. But that’s not saying a whole lot. It’s like saying that Chris Christie is an improvement over Jon Corzine, or that Arnold Schwarzenneger was an improvement over Gray Davis. No, wait. . . .

Can you please elaborate on why you are bashing Jindal, and why you think he’s not a conservative? I have been following Jindal since 2002, and he’s way more conservative than Paul Ryan, or the 4 candidates running for president. Just because the media hates Jindal, you don’t like him? Are you trying to smear every conservative for Romney?

Can you please tell me where you come up with this stuff? Jindal has always been a conservative. Christie and Schwarzenegger were never as conservative as Jindal? Who do you think is a conservative? Lincoln Chaffee?

Conservatism is in the eye of the beholder.
I moved from the democrat dominated state of WV
to the supposed conservative bastion of South
Carolina. I was shocked as to how liberal SC was.
Yet to someone from New York, SC would be conservative
beyond belief.

Gov Foster, nor Jindal have changed one damn thing since Huey P. Long. People keep their damned eyes closed...can’t even see their damned noses, let alone what the hell is happening in Baton Rouge.

A commenter from the link:

To the outside world, the Governor may seem to be quite popular. However, he only received 66 percent of the vote in the last election against no viable competition. He has survived multiple recall efforts and is facing another one filed by disgruntled teachers.

LA's population is 1/3 black. Blacks vote 9 to 1 for Democrats, the party of Santa Claus and racial preferences. Jindal's 66% is pretty all he could have gotten.

A recall effort filed by disgruntled teachers is hardly a black mark for a conservative. It's a sign that Jindal has at least one of the right enemies.

“Jindal is a morn and Will is worse”

Well at least Will is a moron and I like Bobby but he is not a deep thinker and like Rubio he has eligibility issues which we do not need to get embroiled in this year. Why not just pick a slam dunk natural born ciitzen like West, Ryan or McDonnell?

This idiot seems to blame Jindal for Hurricane Katrina:

“Our population is stagnant as we have lost a quarter of our congressional delegation in the last two decades. “

As for his other complaints, how many of these are Jindal’s fault?

“Today in Louisiana, we are facing another fiscal crisis. Job growth is anemic, crime is rampant, poverty is high, our educational system is in shambles, and our road conditions are deplorable.”

Take this assertion: “Governing Magazine just named Louisiana as the most corrupt state in the nation.” Does this mean (A) Jindal’s administration is itself corrupt, or (B), Jindal has managed to what he has despite working in a very difficult environment for a Republican reformer?

And how much is pure bull? The economic crisis hit all states, but in the midst of it, Louisiana RAISED its credit rating; Despite the Obama administration crippling Louisiana’s #1 industry, unemployment never reached 8%, and is well below the national average (1.5% below). Graduation rates are up sharply in the state (from 65% to 71%). This is still somewhat below average, nationally, but adjusted for race, above average... after formerly being one of the lowest in the nation.

Jindal was one of 50 students nationwide admitted to the elite Program in Liberal Medical Education (PLME) at Brown University, guaranteeing him a place in medical school. He was interested in public policy. Jindal also completed a second major in biology. He graduated in 1991 at the age of 20, with honors in both majors.

Jindal was named a member of the 1992 USA Today All-USA Academic Team. He was accepted by both Harvard Medical School and Yale Law School, but studied at New College, Oxford, as a Rhodes Scholar. He received an M.Litt. degree in political science.

May be compared to Albert Einstein or Issac Newton Bobby is a moron, but compared to the write and his attackers, Bobby Jindal is a genius.

I will try to be as succinct as possible; he is not a conservative, and I don’t give a damn if you have been “following him” (as any good lackey would) since 2002. LA has been my home since 1971.

He is NOT hated by the media; they lavish over him just as they do, BHO. They cover for him; they don’t vet him, they Kiss His Arse.

I gotta axe...what the hell does the friggin’ RINO Romney have to do with Jindal?
