Exactly correct and people need to chill out.

Think about it.

The election for president isn’t one election—it’s 50 separate elections on the same day. Here in Alabama, our votes will be counted in this state, by Alabamians. In fact, each jurisdiction counts and tabulates their votes, makes the results PUBLIC, and the votes are sent to the county, which does the same. There’s no way in Hell, for example, that white conservative Alabamians are going to vote for Obama or his monstrous party. If we see that happening through tabulation fraud, we’ll be visitin’ the tabulators with more than pitchforks and torches....

Do what FReepers SHOULD do. Think about it—don’t fly off the handle.

Trotsky once said, "I've got a stabbing headache."

And then when he's asked to put some ice on it, says, "How can I? I can't find my ice pick!" Reaches up, "Oh, here it is..."

Thanks for the link, Rod. A good reasonable read. From your link:

The fact that each state uses its own system and operates according to its own laws would prevent a nationwide scheme to tamper with the 2012 vote. It is therefore impossible under the current system for the Obama Administration, for example, to implement a vote counting system for every precinct in America, although there are government officials who have made it known that they wish to mandate a uniform voting system that would be used in every state. At present, however, the various states and precincts are not capable of such a thing due to economic issues and other logistics.

Still and the same, yes, we need to be vigilant. As the article says, the best thing we should do is volunteer to be a pollwatcher and/or a precinct worker. I've done so, and it is a very interesting thing to do.

“it’s 50 separate elections on the same day.”

Fifty-one: the District of Colombia has two electors. No representation in House or Senate though - just a delegate, Holmes-Norton.

No kidding. Obviously this company in spain isn’t going to do what people think they are going to do, which is count all our votes and report a winner. The question is, just what it is that they ARE hired to do. I would like to know.

) The votes will go to SCYTL, the question becomes as to WHY Must local votes for each precinct will be downloaded to SCYTL’s main server – leaving no TRACEABLE record of how many, and what votes were scored! Which of course means that said votes will be MERGED; and any discrepancies at lower levels will be IMPOSSIBLE to track.

5.) But wait, it gets murkier: SCYTL is shadow owned by Pere Valles, a former CEO of Global Net; who just HAPPENS to have been a maximum level contributor to the Obama Campaign in 2008. Not surprisingly, Valles is also has contacts with Media Matters, a communication consortium owned by: George Soros. 6.) Now the bad news: according to the “Black Box” voting site, this centralizes one “middleman” access point for over 525 voting jurisdictions: (AL, AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, KY, MI, KS, IL, IN, NC, NM, MN, NY, SC, TX, UT, WA. – and growing)." The rest of the article is a click away. I don't know too much about election voting tabulation myself but this looked interesting. I will get a link.

Because Alabama is NOT a voting jurisdiction. No one votes in Alabama generically. Everyone votes at their LOCAL precinct. The precincts PUBLISH their results before uploading/copying/phoning them in/what ever method to the state.

The state then reviews them and puts their de facto stamp of approval to the results. The state is using Scytl to do this review.

Still, if you follow the various precincts public vote tallies, you WILL know who won, and if an official count come out radically different, you’ll know the vote tabulation was tampered with.

but thenthere is this.....

Bev Harris, an elections and voter fraud expert, wrote that the manner in which SCYTL reports election results are very hard to monitor for fraud. According to Harris, a citizen observer would have to be present at the time the polls close to capture evidence of precinct results. Otherwise there is no way to compare the numbers.
