In a creative move meant to draw attention to how to deal with more likely emergencies, last May the Centers for Disease Control posted tips for how to successfully survive a zombie invasion. The timing was perfect: apocalypse discussion was already popular since an End Times pastor had announced the world would end on May 21, and a more realistic danger, hurricane season, was starting on June 1.

Bork Obunga getting re-elected... I can’t really think of anything much more catastrophic than that.

They failed scenario 1 in 2008 with the Obama election.

The REAL problem is that the government no longer works for the citizens, or even cares about their well being. They take the attitude "So what if 100,000 Americans are killed in some catastrophe, we can replace them with 100,000 mexicans, who will be more reliable democrats anyway."

Homeland inSecurity...where nutty watermelons and their group think p.c. pals, who have made humanity their oppressive enemy, and mother earth their victim, fulfill their America's gonna die” nightmares. Federal total control is the only answer! It will keep mother earth safe from the eeeevil oil corporations.

It has recently become apparent that any references to zombies IS a reference to “obamahordes”.

The Republican Party has done and will continue to do everything in their power to get obama re-elected. What makes you [me] believe that? They took out the Conservative candidates early on. The more Conservative, the earlier they were taken out and they began touting Romney as a Conservative. And they continued doing this until only Romney and Newt is left. Now their parrots and surrogates both on and on this forum are picking up the chant," It is Romney or obama",or, "It is the Republican nominee or obama." Under no circumstances will I vote for Romney. I can see no measurable differences obama or Romny. Both are for abortion [the murdering of the innocent] Both are for the homosexual agenda. Both are for taking our God given rights and making us property of the State.

Now, I am under no illusions that my vote will either elect obama or Romney but there are still a few left that feel as I do. But none-the-less if I am the only one that feels that way, I still will not vote for Romney.

So, should Romney be the Republican nominee, barring a miracle from Almighty God, expect obama to be re-elected.

Number 3 is the scenario we should all be expecting and preparing for. The rest are clearly ridiculous....except for Number 5 which will happen after Number 3.

Near as I can tell, that stuff is "Critical Defense" ammunition, with flashy packaging and icky green inserts replacing the normal Hornady Red material.

I am open to correction on that matter ...

In any case, get some. If the zombie apocalypse doesn't happen, and you don't need to use it, it will make a great collectors item in a decade or so.

I guess they never planned for internal enemies of the USA to perform a communist coup d’etat and take over our federal government in plain sight?

They take the attitude "So what if 100,000 Americans are killed in some catastrophe, we can replace them with 100,000 mexicans, who will be more reliable democrats anyway."

And find someway to blame right-winged conservatives as they slip themselves more money from under the table.

I said that in '08 and got flamed big time. McCain was pimping for Hussein and they brought Palin thinking they could handle her (ha!) and they took her down hard. They're doing the same song and dance this time with the fix in for Romney aka Obama-lite for the past 3 years. We just haven't woken up to the fact we have a one party system.

I understand what you are saying. I fell for it. It will take one less vote to re-elect obama. Against my better judgment, I voted for Mc Cain after he picked Sarah. Under no circumstances will I vote for Romney.

I’ve got some in 168gr 7.62. I prefer the Winchester .308 in 180gr though.

Saw that ad for the first time today. Didn’t really expect that from Hornady. Funny!
