I am a child survivor, and went through the destruction of a defenseless people by an enemy called Nazism.
Now, the blood of Israel flows in its streets. A second wave of Nazism breaks over us. And I hear phrases of blame like "cycles of violence," "ending the occupation," as if something we were doing, rather than our very existence were responsible for attacks against us.
I hear lies, distortions, self-serving versions of history. Occupation? Years ago when there was no occupation, what did they do? They murdered our athletes at the Olympics; they hijacked planes; they pushed a man in a wheelchair off a ship into the sea. What excuse will they use when there is no occupation again?
As a survivor of the Holocaust, I can no longer suppress my rage. I must express this rage without any restraint. Then I can go in peace.
The form that my rage takes is a question.
What would have happened had the Jewish people, as of V-E Day, behaved like the Palestinians?
The answer is bitterly obvious.
At the end of World War II, in response to the murder of 6 million of our people, rabbis and Jewish leaders could have declared their own holy war of terror. A Jewish Hezb'allah or Hamas could have raised money through innocuous seeming charities to pay for murder. They could have targeted Germans and Poles, Hungarians and Italians, all of those whose sins of commission and omission permitted us to be murdered.
They could have targeted populations in all the other nations who attended the Evian Conference. There, in 1938, the international community joined together to assure the Nazis that no nation had any interest in intervening to protect individual Jews in Europe, and that the international community would do nothing to rescue, or...........

Also: the ‘Palestinians’ haven’t suffered through anything remotely resembling the holocaust.
It’s a very good piece.
I wish I could have posted it all (it isn’t long but it states the simple, profound truth).
It's not too late to change that. It's close to being too late, but it's not too late.
It would be gratifying to know that at least the worst of the Nazi jackals were hunted down and killed. Yes, tens of thousands of them were put on trial and the rest would spend the remainder of their worthless lives looking over their shoulders, but still....
Why do many Jews support Obama? Liberalism in general if not outrite Communism?
Jesus is still weeping over Jerusalem.
(Actually they believed the lie that Soviet Russia freed them from the concentration camps..........the Germans got the killing technology from the Soviets)
Hmmm?? Picture of me, where did you get?
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.
>Also: the Palestinians havent suffered through anything remotely resembling the holocaust.
Heck, the worst thing to happen to the Palestinians is their permanent refugee status. That is a product of policies of the surrounding Arab nations which are not willing to allow them citizenship so they can remain a propaganda tool.
Just like the race pimps in the United States who will constantly carp about racism because once racism is gone, there goes their gravy train.
It’s the unfortunate Kibutz politics. Liberals are hostage of ideas or aspects of the legacy of communism.
It’s hard to get to, but if you are interested in Jewish culture, go to mark 53 minutes. It is a great song of the Jewish theatre Dos Pintele Yud. I found it just the other day and the words inspired me.
“Little Jew, that spark is your crown - everyone bathed in your blood”
I dont remember...I googled ‘the force is strong in this one’ and there it was.
You may lift it..but please don’t hotlink it...
I’d like to feel sympathy, but I’m not even sure the writer is who he/she claims. In what concentration camp did the writer survive? In what attic did the writer hide. From where in Europe did the writere originate? There are no details. We’re merely told that the writer survived the Holocaust, as if it were some monolithic event, rather than a particular individual experience. I’ve known at least one faker before, and my suspicions are up. Furthermore, the arguments made are too unfactual and illogical to even follow in the excerpt posted. During the Munich massacre and the Achilles Lauro hijacking, there was indeed an “occupation”. It started in 1967, predating all the events cited in the article. I consider it a liberation of lands stolen by the Muftists and Jordan in 1933-6 and 1948, and not an “occupation,” but that’s beside the point. I strongly suspect that this “survivor” is an imposter, making straw man arguments for a left winger or Pali sympathizer to later knock down. The essential point (when there is no longer an occupation, what will their excuse be then?) could have been made better by simply getting the facts straight, which the writer conspicuously failed to do.
Time and time again the Jewish community supports politicians who support the anti Israel agenda. Frankly, I'm getting tired of stories that are seemingly directed at me, as if I can do something about the self destructive path Jewish Americans seem to have chosen. By all appearances they are still supporters of Obama.
Thank you! I plan to listen to the entire performance. It’s running now.
Just read the whole thing. My first impression has been reenforced. This is all straw man argument. I can see how the leftos would tear this apart, and I believe it’s a setup for just that sort of treatment.
Good points and also for post#17 in this thread...
