What a lame district attorney!! Did he get his degree above a barber shop? LOL
To: 2ndDivisionVet
He did NOT apologize.
He said “I am sorry for your loss.”
Not the same thing. An apology would imply he did something wrong, which is why the media is running hard with the spin that Zimmerman “apologized to the parents” instead of merely making an expression of sorrow and empathy.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
CNN is having the vapors over this.
I caught it at a restaurant on closed caption, and they are just beside themselves at this “self serving” statement.
Also, on a local radio show this AM, a black caller who claimed to have investigated thousands of homicides stood firm in claiming that Zs injuries were caused a skin disease on his head and the scab just got picked off.
No amount of truth will ever stop the hate that has been falsely ginned up by the race hustlers Jesse, Al, and Barry.

There is a Freeper who implied Zimmerman, the evil racist vigilante, made the wounds himself with a razor, like a pro wrestlers do. Go figure.

He said “sorry for their loss.”
Prosecutor looked like an ass.
Lead investigator had no evidence who started the fight. GAME OVER.

Investigators did not have Zimmerman’s medical record either. Looks like they only investigated what they wanted to hear.
To: BufordP
As I recall, he never actually hired those two lawyers, they just stepped up while he was in hiding from the Black Panthers and the rest of the lynch mob.

Its game over unless the DA has unreleased forensic evidence that counters any of Mr. Zimmerman's statements or account.

Go ahead Jackson, Neo Black Pussies and Sharpton....stir the pot so that blacks riot in black neighborhoods when they let this guy go.

The article merely demonstrates he’s been dealing directly with law enforcement rather than getting good representation. Whether this changes remains to be seen. I’m doubtful.

An sympathy ‘apology’ which he had to make as a form of civil niceties. I kinda feel sorry for the parents, but they colluded with that black power lawyer and are absolutely unwilling to believe their little “boy” could have done something that warranted being shot.

De la Rionda: And tell me, after you committed this crime and you spoke to the police, did you ever make that statement to the police sir, that you were sorry for what you'd done or their loss? A perfect example of why an accused should never attempt to make any type of statement until properly trained and prepared by a first class criminal defense attorney, Zimmerman should have answered forcefully: I committed NO crime, sir! Intoning "sir" as one would address a child molester.
The scumbag De la Rionda goes on to lay a Scooter Libby perjury trap in that Zimmerman will never be able to exactly accurately remember his exact words in the many times he will be under oath, and incorrect recall one time giving contradicting testimony will convict him of perjury with a stupid jury.

I wonder if the other networks have an undoctored video.

Well, I also saw on the news today they’re beginning to discuss Romney and his stance on immigration. So now they have to transition to the persecution of the Latinos.

If the defense starts worrying about the prosecutor’s reaction
it might as well give up and plead guilty.
The prosecutor doesn’t determine guilt.
And as per ‘Meet the New Boss’ post above, he did not “apologize”.

Actually he's not and it won't. Your article was written on 4/10, it's old news and everyone is beyond that now..........

would not have allowed that prosecutor to frame what happened as a crime.
That's obviously why you're not a defense attorney since you would not have a choice, that is what prosecutors do. And that's why you also have a court of law to dispute whatever the prosecutor offers.......

Just like in the Duke case. Only investigate that which suits your end result.
To: BufordP
Zimmerman's ad lib statements have been ill-advised but represent the behavior of someone comfortable with the police, who does not see them as adversaries, and who trusts the system.
In other words, devoid of mens rea.
To: Hot Tabasco
...old news...Let me guess ... 'cause I just got back from an 8 day vacation ... is Zimmerman our new FReeper hero and thou shalt not criticize?
Don't get me wrong. I don't much care how this pans out. But he opened himself up for a beatdown today - not two weeks ago. Just making an observation.

Absolutely not! But if you're attempting to make a critical observation on Mr. Zimmerman's current behavior then do yourself a favor, use current news...........
That'll cut down on challenges to you and prevent yourself from having to defend your statements. Easy, isn't it?
