BREAKING: Bank of America Reportedly Drops Gun Company for Political Reasons
PJ Media ^ | April 20, 2012 | Bob Owens

Bailout recipient Bank of America has severed relations with an American company because of a reported bias against their industry. McMillan Group International released an extraordinary statement on Facebook regarding the incident:

McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, McMillan Firearms Manufacturing, McMillan Group International have been collectively banking with Bank of America for 12 years. Today Mr. Ray Fox, Senior Vice President, Market Manager, Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking came to my office. He scheduled the meeting as an “account analysis” meeting in order to evaluate the two lines of credit we have with them. He spent five minutes talking about how McMillan has changed in the last five years and have become more of a firearms manufacturer than a supplier of accessories.

At this point I interrupted him and asked “Can I possible save you some time so that you don’t waste your breath? What you are going to tell me is that because we are in the firearms manufacturing business you no longer what my business.” Advertisement

“That is correct” he says.

I replied “That is okay, we will move our accounts as soon as possible. We can find a Second Amendment friendly bank that will be glad to have our business. You won’t mind if I tell the NRA, SCI and everyone one I know that BofA is not firearms industry friendly?”

“You have to do what you must” he said.

“So you are telling me this is a politically motivated decision, is that right?”

Mr Fox confirmed that it was. At which point I told him that the meeting was over and there was nothing let for him to say.

McMillan is now refusing to accept Bank of America cards from customers for payment.

The boycott is on re Bank of America. Vietnam veterans and newer veterans, on a national scale, have been notified about what the BOA has done.

Time that the consumer struck back against these Stimulus cheese-eating, spineless leftists who cave in to Media Matters and other communist fronts of George Soros.

Let’s put our money where our mouth is, and that’s not at the Bank of America.

Spread the word, just like Paul Revere did. But this time the message is:” The real Americans are coming, and payback’s a bitch”!

Everyone should ‘drop’ BofA. They have no business being in business.

Why anyone would have an account with them is beyond me. Find a local/regional bank or a credit union.

Wasn’t this the same bank giving credit cards to non-USA citizens? The same bank taking a tax payer bail-out? The same bank pulling out the US flags on their property along the route of a veteran to his final resting place?

Aw Shucks....

“Everyone should ‘drop’ BofA. ..”

I did that years ago, so the next step is to pass on this information to my friends, so they drop them, too.

I used to bank at Lincoln Savings. Actually, my parents started accounts for brother and me there when we were babies, Small, knew the tellers and managers and they knew their customers. Once I needed a small loan. No major hassle. No credit check. The bank knew I was good for it.
Alas, Lincoln was absorbed by the predecessor to First Niagara and we customers lost that hometown, friendly service. I miss Lincoln.

Are there any patriotic American banks? Which banks aren’t run by international swindlers?

IIRC Bank of America has been dropping gun related business accounts for some time. Must look back and research once more coffee kicks in.

I have had accounts at Banks that Bank of Amigo bought but never with them.

I think non profit credit unions are the best places to do Banking.

The only relationship I have with BoA is they hold the mortgage on the house I’m trying to buy in a short sale.

In other words, I’m helping the current “owners” screw BoA out of a significant portion of what they owe on the house....

Yay me.

With all of the issues Bank of America is dealing with in an effort to restore profitability and liquidity, they pull a bone headed stunt like this.

If I was head of B of A, this clown Fox would be bounced out of his job so hard he would be picking gravel out of his butt for months.

Could it have anything to do with the fact that the Democratic National Convention is to be held in the city where BOA is based? Charlotte, NC?
