This gratuitious insertion is the kind of factual sloppiness that makes one hate all journalists. I am aware of no "racial attacks" on the President.
A rolling freight train takes a while to stop. I wonder when Ozero becomes "white-black"?
Around the time of the verdict, I was in a grocery store and saw one black checkout clerk say to another, nodding, "He [meaning O.J.] did it." There was consensus that he was guilty.
Likewise, me too. I asked my good friend, why would you want OJ to get away with murder? He said, its about time a black guy got away with something. This is what 90 percent think.
Zimmerman’s goose is cooked. The question I have, is why did he get out of the car?

“Accidentally omitted”????
Uh... no.
NBC, ABC and CNN ALL outright lied about Zimmerman. All 3 are in CYA mode like a cat trying to cover up it’s excrement.
I went to the link, they have pulled the story! Left in it’s place is a personal note from the author who has obviously been threatened and has decided to lay off from reporting for a few weeks... WTF?
A diffficult but necessary decision
I have decided to take some time away from my writing online for a while. It would seem that one of my friends has made an interesting point; that I am treading into waters in which I have no business.
The fact is, bloggers, writers, reporters all take risks, and oftentimes those risks make enemies. That said, really do not feel it necessary to endanger my family because people take things out of context, so I am going to take a huge step back, reassess my approach to how I report, write, and opine, and I will be back on within 2-3 weeks.
I appreciate all the feedback provided by everyone, and all my readership, but at this moment in time, I believe it best if I re-evaluate my approach to things in my life. There have been a great many things which have gone wrong, and I believe this has affected my ability to rationally analyze things I would otherwise be able to analyze quite effectively.
This is the second time in three weeks I’ve had to write such a piece. It seems I’ve become really good at making those who matter in my life angry at me. I only hope this time I’m using for reflection makes me a better writer.
This is about Trayvon “Fight Club” Martin, isn’t it? ;-)
Perhaps he was not willing to live in fear of hoodlums who do whatever they please to him and his neighbors.
Dispatcher: Which entrance is that that he's heading towards?
IMMEDIATELY after the operator asks for the direction of flight, Zimmerman leaves his vehicle. Less than one second after the question is asked, you can hear the door open and the beeping from still having the keys in the ignition. That's about as direct a response as you'll ever see. It's at the 2:05 mark in the call:
Zimmerman didn’t profile Martin. It’s clear from the 911 tape (the unabridged one, not the fake NBC version) that Zimmerman didn’t even know Martin’s race, when he decided to check further. (Martin was hiding his face in a hoodie.)
Zimmerman is sitting in his truck. It doesn’t seem like Martin was trying to hide his face in a hoodie at all.
911 dispatcher:
OK, is he White, Black, or Hispanic?
Zimmerman:
He looks black.
911 dispatcher:
Did you see what he was wearing?
Zimmerman:
Yeah, a dark hoodie like a gray hoodie. He wore jeans or sweat pants and white tennis shoes. Hes here now hes just staring. [00:42]
911 dispatcher:
Hes just walking around the area, the houses? OK.
Zimmerman:
Now hes staring at me. [00:48]
911 dispatcher:
OK, you said thats 1111 Retreat View or 111?
Zimmerman:
Thats the clubhouse.
911 dispatcher:
Hes near the clubhouse now?
Zimmerman:
Yeah, now hes coming toward me. Hes got his hands in his waist band.
And hes a black male.[1:03]
911 dispatcher:
How old would you say he is?
Zimmerman:
Hes got something on his shirt. About like his late teens.
911 dispatcher:
Late teens?
Zimmerman:
Uh, huh.
The link no longer goes to the article above.
Sounds like someone said something his editor didn’t want to hear. He will now be re educated at The Sharpton Institute of Yellow Journalism.
If you listen to the recording, you might get a different impression than you would from just reading the transcript (I did). When the dispatcher asks whether Martin is white, black or hispanic, Zimmerman pauses for a couple of beats before answering. He then stresses “looks” — indicating (to me, at least) that he still wasn't sure; but wanted to provide an answer to the dispatcher.
I made a particular point of listening to the 911 recording; because, the doctored 911 clip NBC played seemed to be such convincing proof of profiling. The actual recording gave me the opposite impression.
Then isn’t logical to ask why Trayvon went out to buy candy and tea - if Trayvon hadn’t gone out this never would have happened likewise if Zimmmerman hadn’t gotten out of his car this wouldn’t have happened. Both actors were acting legally leading up to the confrontation and the important facts are how the confrontation occurred and thereafter what did each participant do?
“Yeah, now hes coming toward me. Hes got his hands in his waist band.”
Young black males often do this as an itimidation tactic to scare people into think they are armed, since it is their custom to wear their pistols without holsters and in the front waistband.
white AND (Zimmerman) JEWISH
