Romney most Muslim Friendly Republican Candidate
Posted on 04/25/2012 8:30:29 PM PDT by PieterCasparzen
Of all the Republican candidates, Mitt Romney seems to be the most reasonable, realistic, and moderate when it comes to Islam and Muslims. They have all backtracked and are being more Muslim friendly, but Romney seems to be the most genuine. Republican strategists realize that they can't win without the Muslim vote, especially in Ohio. No one has ever won the White House without Ohio.
It all started at the debate when Herman Cain was asked to explain his comments from a few months ago when he said that no Muslim would ever serve in his cabinet. He backtracked and was apologetic, and stated that only good Muslims who support the constitution would be in his cabinet.
Mitt Romney had the most measured and mature response and said, "We recognize that people of all faiths are welcome in this country. Our nation was founded on a principle of religious tolerance. That's in fact why some of the earliest patriots came to this country and why we treat people with respect, regardless of their religious persuasion."

Champion of the islamicagenda, our hero, Mittens.
The Republican establishment is really offering a clear alternative to the islamo-commie-fascists in 2012.
A kinder, gentler kind of hatred of Western civilization.
Well that’s just effen great. I watched Rumor of War III tonight and changed my mind about not voting for Romney. After reading this I’m back to not voting for him.
Geezus what a mess.

It might be of some interest to those who don’t buy into the all-Muslims-are-jihadists mindset that Romney and Netanyahu have been close friends since the 70s. I’ll take that relationship over Obama’s with Netanyahu and radical Muslims anytime.

(Not voting for etchamitt...no way...no how)
This is one of the many reasons I won’t be voting for Romney. We don’t need people friendly to Islam. We need to take a page from Pamela Geller and realize that Islam is the greatest enemy of freedom and the West.

Oh, I don't buy into that - only good muslims are jihadists. Any muslim who sides with the enemy is a bad muslim and there is no muslim penalty for killing anyone who is not a good muslim. Ask Anwar Sadat about siding with the enemy. I will never forget muslims in New Jersey singing and dancing in sight of the collapsed Twin Towers. My ancestors having settled New Jersey and New York and fought in all the wars, you can imagine the feelings it stirs up in me, that is, having enemies of America being tolerated living here. Hate to break this news, but every muslim is only allowed to have one of two attitudes towards the killing of non-muslims: happiness or ambivolence. Even the nice muslim neighbor and the Western-looking, intellectual muslim pundit talking about peace: they are both simply tools used by muslim leadership to continue infiltrating areas of War (any nation that does not have an islamic government, according to islam). It's not me saying this, it's every muslim cleric who speaks in every mosque every week to every muslim who attends.
that Romney and Netanyahu have been close friends since the 70s.
Wow, at first I felt so good when I heard about that relationship.
Then I woke up and smelled coffee.
Mittens history is one of playing both sides of issues in his quest to get elected. His "principles" consist of nothing. He may tell himself in his own mind that he has "loyalties", but I've not found one instance where he once stood up for something or someone where his taking a stand was going to hurt his political career. On the contrary, he avoids taking a stand. At least with nobama, Netanyahu knows that nobama is unreliable; with Mittens in office, I would hate to see Netanyahu rely too much on an "old friend" that seems to like anyone that will vote for him.
Mittens and the establishement want all the poor little Christian conservatives to get in line and vote for Mittens so they can "win".
Mittens will be very bad for Republicans if elected, IMHO. Actually, if it goes that way, the Republican party may see conservatives leaving in droves. Perhaps that will pave the way for a replacement of the Republican party with a new real conservative party.
