Yes, Speaker Boehner: Democrats Think You're Stupid and Weak. Yes, They're Laughing At You
Doug Ross Journal ^ | April 27, 2012 | DRJ

Posted on 04/28/2012 12:43:22 AM PDT by CaptainKrunch

How else to explain President Obama's shameless ripoff of $8.3 billion in taxpayer money, which he has turned into a de facto campaign contribution?

Let me explain: when Democrats passed the 2,700-page Obamacare bill -- you know, the one that not one person bothered to read -- they didn't realize it contained several electoral time-bombs.

One of its dictates shredded the popular Medicare Advantage (MA) program starting in... October. Yep: just before the 2012 elections. Realizing their mistake, HHS head Kathleen Sebelius decided to steal $8.3 billion from another part of Medicare to hide the mistake from seniors until after the election.

A new report by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) shows that a demonstration program created by the Obama Administration in Medicare Advantage (MA) is primarily designed to "demonstrate" how to hide politically unpopular parts of Obamacare.

...Obamacare’s cuts to MA would severely reduce the quality of the program and force enrollees back into traditional Medicare... "Phased in between 2012 and 2017, the MA cuts will substantially restrict the ability of Medicare beneficiaries to choose the health plans that best meet their needs and will result in substantial reductions in coverage for many millions of seniors and disabled Americans." Medicare’s Office of the Actuary predicts a 50 percent drop in enrollment by 2017.

...The GAO’s review of the [bogus] demonstration’s budgetary impact shows that it is “at least seven times larger than that of any other Medicare demonstration conducted since 1995.” The estimated cost of the program is a whopping $8.35 billion... The GAO recommended that the White House “should cancel the MA Quality Bonus Payment Demonstration and allow the MA quality bonus payment system established by [Obamacare] to take effect.”

In short, the GAO exposed the ripoff and strongly recommended that HHS cease and desist. Even The Washington Post has urged the Obama administration to stop this unlawful activity, because it is intended only to temporarily disguise the damage that Obamacare will bring.

Should HHS fail to cancel this illicit campaign contribution, the House of Representatives needs to subpoena Kathleen Sebelius and demand an explanation. And if she perjures herself, it must hold her in Contempt of Congress.

It's time to stop playing around, Speaker Boehner. It's time to fight back against this lawlessness. They're laughing at you, Mr. Speaker. They're laughing at Seniors. And they think you're stupid and weak.

They certainly do not represent what is good for the country or good for working Americans.

They feed the entitled, they pay for the entitled health care, they keep the entitled home and send them checks for doing nothing.

It gets them elected and destroys our country. That is their mission.

Here is some background. Hope it helps. "He kept a brave face over glasses of red wine, until Republican Rep. Tom Latham of Iowa rose to toast his best friend. That's when Boehner, who is prone to tears (it drives him crazy, but he can't help it), lost it.

"Everybody in the whole room cried," he said."

And, without leadership and lots of it, we will never bring those Romney primary voters who are reachable over to our side.

Yes, Boehner is weak. He's either incompetent/stupid or he works for he other team. Every six months, he gives a terrific speech, which has utterly nothing to do with the way he leads the GOP House or with his policies.

Boehner must be replaced.

Bad socialist/good socialist (co-conspirators acting like opposition parties). GRRRRREAT thread!

From Frederic Bastiat 1801-1850...

Men naturally rebel against the injustice of which they are victims. Thus, when plunder is organized by law for the profit of those who make the law, all the plundered classes try somehow to enter — by peaceful or revolutionary means — into the making of laws. According to their degree of enlightenment, these plundered classes may propose one of two entirely different purposes when they attempt to attain political power: Either they may wish to stop lawful plunder, or they may wish to share in it.

Woe to the nation when this latter purpose prevails among the mass victims of lawful plunder when they, in turn, seize the power to make laws! Until that happens, the few practice lawful plunder upon the many, a common practice where the right to participate in the making of law is limited to a few persons. But then, participation in the making of law becomes universal. And then, men seek to balance their conflicting interests by universal plunder. Instead of rooting out the injustices found in society, they make these injustices general. As soon as the plundered classes gain political power, they establish a system of reprisals against other classes. They do not abolish legal plunder. (This objective would demand more enlightenment than they possess.) Instead, they emulate their evil predecessors by participating in this legal plunder, even though it is against their own interests.

It is as if it were necessary, before a reign of justice appears, for everyone to suffer a cruel retribution — some for their evilness, and some for their lack of understanding.

It is impossible to introduce into society a greater change and a greater evil than this: the conversion of the law into an instrument of plunder.

It is worse than that. They don't even want to be in the majority because they don't want to take the heat for poor governance. So they make a deal. You can run everything and we won't make more of a fuss than we have to. Just give us our cut. It was worked out pretty well for them.

Right, Doug.

You have about as much chance of seeing that happen as you do winning this weekend's Powerball...even without having bought a ticket.

The Girly-Guy, RINO, Weeper of the House (BONE-ER) is scared of his own shadow, not too mention the Lame Stream Media and is simply another one of those "Gotta Go Along to Git Along" wusses.

Moreover, it appears that both the House and Senate Republi-tards are now taking direction from the Mittens Campaign, who I predict will be even less inclined (HOW MANY TIMES HAS MITT GUSHED ALL OVER DEAR LEADER AND CLAIMED HE WAS A "NICE GUY?") to take the gloves off and go for the jugular, than Juan McPain did and that weren't none at all.

From March 2, 2010...

The federal government and Massachusetts government are in desperate need of money. The federal budget deficit is estimated at $1.6 trillion this fiscal year. Here in Massachusetts, the state is trying to close a $2.75 billion budget gap. Increasing taxes in an election year is a political taboo. However, the government also employs less overt strategies to increase tax revenues. One strategy being used by both the US and Massachusetts government is to increase tax enforcement. The most typical tax enforcement activity is an audit by either the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or the Massachusetts Department of Revenue (DOR).

**********************************************************
Yes, and that is happening as we speak. We’re doing it by replacing RINOs/CINOs/Democrats in the US House of Representative seat by seat. That process picked up speed in 2010 and continues apace in 2012.

We’re also doing the same thing for Senate seats. That started in 2010 (e.g., Rubio in Florida, Ron Johnson replacing Finegold, Mike Lee replaced Bob Bennett in Utah, Pat Toomey replacing Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania) and is also continuing apace in 2012 (Mandel in Ohio, Mourdock in Indiana will be sending Lugar off to a McClean Virginia retirement in the May 8th primary, Orrin Hatch has been forced into a runoff Primary with Tea Party favorite Dan Liljenquist, Ted Cruz is closing the gap with Dewhurst in Texas, and so forth).

This is all good news. Let’s NOT BE DEFEATIST. Let’s continue the process of remaking the Republican Party and, in the process, saving our Republic. Do your part folks—don’t give up.
