For the eighth year in a row California is ranked at the absolute bottom of 50 states for business, according to Chief Executive magazine.
What do they know? The esteemed Gov. Jerry Brown says Californias just swell for business.
Well, OK, Jerry isnt and hasnt been a CEO and this is an annual poll of chief executive officers who run actual businesses. Hes a politician and a progressive. Did we mention its been eight years in a row that California finished dead last? ...

So does your business model of blogpimping.
I’m surprised the “Moonbeam” didn’t say it was because those CEOs are “racist”!
“Progressive” means progressing rapidly to hell.
Bwahahaha! Nice one!

I’m glad you posted your article. Good article on what is happening in CA as well as other parts of the world.
As for the comments of “blog pimping” - who appointed them the gatekeepers?
It's not posted, it's excerpted. You can't read it on Free Republic even though the "author" wants to benefit from FR's traffic.
You didn't notice this?
I know for a fact that Fluor Corp., Northrup Grumann, and Fidelity National Financial left California.
Each was a major top tier firm in its field, had corp. hq. in California, and they moved corp. hq. to another state, outside the grasp of California tax collectors and regulators.
When this occurs, the firm will usually NOT tell the entire truth in public, because they want to retain thei California business customers.
But privately they will tell the truth, going to a more business friendly state.
These decisions aren’t reached overnight. I know for a fact that Fluor was concerned about the CA location for many years, because clients complained about costs.
Fluor Corp. from Aliso Viejo CA to Irving TX.
Northrup Grumann from Century City CA to Falls Church VA
Fidelity National Financial from Santa Barbara CA to Jacksonville FL
The Detroitification of an entire state proceeds apace....
humblegunner is FRs self appointed blog pimping community watch captain
Attacking people for posting interesting articles from blogs is apparently judged to be more important than attracting people who actually want to spend time on Free Republic. Talk about your dumb business models.
Can you explain why some here on FR do not like blog pimping?
I’m not trying to be difficult or negative - I just don’t understand what harm it might do.
It's just considered rude to use FR (a "free" forum) to drive hits to your blog.
Me? I don't lose sleep over it, but there are some self-appointed FR monitors who do.
There's also plenty of FR monitors who wring their hands over the fact that somehow, somewhere, there's an FR post with a misspelling or grammatical error that NEEDS to be corrected. And the sooner the better. :-)
“Can you explain why some here on FR do not like blog pimping?”
I’ll let our esteemed Admin Moderator answer that:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2722423/posts
I can line it out pretty well, but I tend toward terseness.
It’s spam, in this case.
I look for two things when I see a blog excerpted by the author. 1) Is the Posting History full of #1 posts? 2) Does the poster ever respond to FReepers?
Landsbaum badly fails both tests. I don’t know why he’s still allowed to post threads.
Just a hunch, but I’ll bet you’re actually helping to drive traffic to all of the blogs you complain about. I think you’re making people curious.
Ironic, that.
It's an article in the Orange County Register, which is a newspaper. Dot com edition. Not exactly a blog.
The poster may be the author, but he excerpted the article like any other Freeper would do.
