What should we do with the unemployable? Kill them. Obviously.

As an aside note for future reference, Taussig writes the following on page 301: "Back of this movement, in other words, is the specter of Malthusianism. The danger of pressure from uncontrolled increase of numbers exists in modern societies chiefly for the lowest stratum."
I keep running into Malthusian ideals when I look into eugenics. I generally don't like the topic of eugenics because of how obviously dark it is, but this link between the two concepts is interesting.

It’d be a good way to get rid of Democrats.

Progressives do not want to discuss their own history. I want to discuss their history.
Summary: Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear. - Thomas Jefferson to Peter Carr, August 10, 1787

Of course, Taussig died in 1940. This is sort of dated material. Today the ones with sharp knives are mostly environmentalists.

Most of what I cover is dated material. If you’ve ever wondered for example ‘where did Woodrow Wilson say x’, chances are I’ve blogged about it or will be doing so soon. And just about anybody else from the early 20th century progressive era.
Due to the relationship between American progressives and British Fabians, I’ve also ventured fairly extensively into that.
I do cover some modern things. Mostly revolutionary in nature. Like the STORM manifesto, being as I recorded the audiobook.

Environmentalism is merely the cause du jour of the death culture.
Scratch the surface and the Malthusian eugenics garbage will spill out.

You must all know half a dozen people at least who are no use in this world, who are more trouble than they are worth. Just put them there and say Sir, or Madam, now will you be kind enough to justify your existence? If you cant justify your existence, if youre not pulling your weight in the social boat, if youre not producing as much as you consume or perhaps a little more, then, clearly, we cannot use the organizations of our society for the purpose of keeping you alive, because your life does not benefit us and it cant be of very much use to yourself.

With out them there would be a shortage of beggars and common night walkers. I have noticed that the worthy beggars have had a tendency to become productive when they emigrated to the States back in the bad old days.

That is what Obamacare is for. They will “take care” of the elderly through the denial of health care.
Obama, during his campaign, promised to lower the costs of health care by suggesting that maybe gradma should not have a hip replacement, rather just take some pain pills.

Rod Sterling was a brilliant man. Pretty much every episode of the Twilight Zone carried a message or warning of some sort.
The Obsolete man is one of my very top favorites and is in a close competition with "The Hunt"
