Jennifer Lopez, out promoting her new movie What To Expect When You’re Expecting, told Ellen Degeneres on her talk show Tuesday that she didn’t know if she’ll be returning to American Idol next season. Jennifer signed a 1 year contract last spring.
“I really do enjoy it..now this is my second year…I don’t know if I can go for a 3rd year. I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down. Which was nice the first year with the babies being 3 and 4. But now they’re more mobile. They’re about to go to school. I just don’t know. I don’t know,” said Jennifer.
“I get it. Believe me,” quipped Ellen, who was a judge on Idol Season 9.
Is Jennifer fishing for more money? Or is her career re-rehabilitated (thanks Idol!) to the point that she doesn’t need the show anymore?
If she wants more money, Nigel should say no. Part of next year’s re-boot should include new judges on the panel. If only Nigel would replace the useless Randy Jackson…but only in my dreams.

Thank God. She’s terrible. I quit watching the show because she is too obvious in who she wants to win, the dark haired pageant-bot.
When this year’s pageant-bot got booted, she “saved” her and lectured the audience about voting for our favorites. I did. It wasn’t her.

Exactly. The wife and I came to the same conclusion. This year’s winner was predetermined for affirmative action reasons. There is no way the 2 remaining dark skinned contestants were among the best.

She’s looking for more money and will be back. Her resurgence on the radio is all due to her Idol exposure. Her new movie is going nowhere
JLo should move on to do other things. It was probably a good gig with younger kids who needed more mommy time but they are older now and in school.
If I were here I’d leave and move on to other projects.
She’s still quite and young and unbelievably beautiful with talent and drive like few others.
Nice girl too. Met her through a few friends a couple of times and went to that forgettable movie premier with her and Marc Anthony(super nice guy). Met Maria Conchita Alonza through them and she couldn’t have been more fun to talk with even though she had a date or eye ornament with her.
She’s only 42/43 and she can pump out a good 10 years of singing and acting while developing a new phase of becoming a Director/Producer and developing new talents.
You really can’t do that with a “job” that regiments your schedule and the schedule is more traditional, as in daytime with long hours.
Going back to her old life she can schedule anything, anytime.
I get the impression she gets aroused over some of the male contestants and it proves that men aren't the only ones who think with their genitals.
As if J Ho has the right to judge anybody’s singing.

By suspicions started last year with Pia Toscano. The judges were just more aggressive this year. They want to find the next Celine Dione, Whitney Houston-esque singer.
