I can’t blame the neighbor for his position, but it is odd that he turned down the tarp, yet leaves his favorite car out in the sun and weather?

I'm doing the best I can, but other than keep him inside, there isn't anything else I can do tonight. And keeping him inside still won't keep strays off the man's car.

First I’m sorry, I haven’t read all the comments, so please excuse if this has already been suggested. I have 3 indoor/outdoor cats, and keep them in a night, but in the daytime they do go out. Would it be possible for you to handle it this way-—keep him indoors at night, and if you’re around in the daytime you could probably keep an eye on him?
