that’s why you get it out on FACEBOOK, that’s why you get it out on TWITTER, that’s why you email to everyone you know.

Exactly right. Much of the message control is simply what gets reported and what doesn't. Another example is the new lawsuits against Obamacare by over 40 Catholic organizations. The major broadcast media, except Fox, has either ignored it entirely or just made it a minor footnote mention.
