Donald Trump is many things, but in the political world, he has made his recent name on being a birther. This argued Rachel Maddow last night, giving him credit for being a great asset to Mitt Romney’s campaign but questioning the morality of having a birther be a great asset to one’s campaign. What to do, Maddow asked, when “the single best known household name to speak up” for you also thinks the President is a “Kenyan Usurper”?
“Nobody can be responsible for the views of all their supporters,” Maddow noted, arguing that if you, the viewer, had wacky beliefs and also liked Romney, that wasn’t really his problem. “But Donald Trump is not you– he is a prominent part of the Romney campaign.” Romney, she concluded, was “raising money off of Donald Trump… while Donald Trump is simultaneously preaching that President Obama is secretly not really the President,” and those two facts are not severable.

I’d like to hear Gov. Romney say: “Well, his official biography provided to his literary agent stated quite clearly he was born in Kenya and I haven’t heard anything from him to refute that, so you’ll have to take this matter up with the President.”
Oh please, please, please can we play name the nuttiest supporter of Obama or Romney? Obama wins by a long shot (and with a much longer list.)

He should also make the statement that the entire nation has the right to know Obama’s, and any president’s, personal history.
Undoubtedly Obama's records will be sealed for fifty years when he leaves the presidency. But the real shame will be on the failed journalists of the media when the truth eventually comes out.

Trump can solve this problem easily enough.
He says that he has no affiliation with the Romney campaign, that he’s just a patriotic American determined to do all he can to prevent the Kenyan Usurper from winning another term.
If that happens to benefit Milquetoast Mitt, that’s just the way the cookie crumbles.

I think you’ve got it right, i.e. that Obamao is the original birther since he’s the one that allegedly claimed to be born in Kenya. Personally, I think that he was born in Hawaii, but used the false claim to get advantages for himself. Hey Confused Won, so show us your college entrance applications, financial aid applications, selective service records, social security records and original summary biography for that book and then we’ll see the truth. Until then, Usurper is the best title for you.
